I assume the cut away segment when they announced Bryan vs Reigns with HHH and Steph saying they can't take away the WM match from Bryan even if they want to is setting up another triple threat at Mania if Bryan wins tonight... but I feel like that's giving them too much credit
There's no way Reigns isn't involved in the main event at Mania. You can't devalue winning the Rumble. It's either Reigns vs. Lesnar or a triple threat.

I mean thats exactly what I'm saying? The cut away section of Raw with them saying Reigns can't be removed from the Mania event setting up a triple threat, otherwise it was an entirely pointless segment.

Triple threat elimination match at Mania: Reigns gets eliminated after 15 minute by a running knee into an F5, then Bryan and Brock have a 20 minute no DQ match that blows the roof off the place.

Inspired by a few posts made on this page, I think I'll use WWE Fastlane as a way to introduce my cat to Pro Wrestling. He's never watched it before so we'll see how it goes.

I could deal with that if it leads to a heel Reigns and a face Brock.Otherwise, it's going to be anti-climatic as fuck...literally the most obvious (and laziest) direction the WWE can go here.

Brock beat the streak. He squashed Cena of all people at SumerSlam. At Royal Rumble he immediately started doing power moves to everyone at the start of the match and later took like 3 AAs within 5 seconds and still kicked out. Definitely been an ongoing thing.

You're conveniently leaving out Night of Champions and the rest of that Rumble match.
he spent a good portion of that match on top of a collapsed table, I don't think that fits the "OP" narrative
You missed Night of Champions then where Brock only kept the belt because Seth Rollins interfered.

I remember Brock ending night of champions by laying out Cena. And then the end of the triple threat match was him coming back from a BROKEN FRIGGIN RIB and F5ing Rollins after receiving two briefcase shots to the head.

Someone on Reddit said that he should switch his creepy theme for an elevator music version of his theme, and change his titantron video to one of him doing paperwork and looking at spreadsheets. If they were going to do corporate Kane, that is the way they should have done it.

I doubt anyone is saying that. But this is someone who won the royal rumble, and was slotted for a Wrestlemania main event. And he is nowhere near that caliber right now, or at least what that caliber should be.
They're pushing the guy as Cena 2.0. I don't think anyone wants to see another 10 years of that.

Below average in the ring. Bad on the mic. No charisma.
Honestly, Cena, to me, isn't that caliber either but he's headlined a lot of WMs. I just don't see what's so terrible at Roman's performance that he takes this amount of hatred. It's not just here. I like Bryan just as much as the next guy but it just appears to me an extra level of shit is being thrown on Roman simply because Bryan is involved.
It made a little worst as well when during that RAW interview thing, about the boos, he gave us a Cena style answer. It was almost literally a Cena answer really.
Reigns has had one major feud as a singles competitor before this. One. It's not even comparable to Cena when he first appeared.
EDIT: Also, there's no story reason for him to be in this position other than he looks good. It's just artificial.

I agree that cena shouldn't have headlined as many wrestlemanias as he has, and that his booking has been outrageously annoying much of the time. I also think he's substantially better than roman on the mic and in the ring, however. Roman is not at a stage where he should be in the position he is, and I doubt he ever will be personally.
Right. I dislike roman, but the enormous push he has gotten, especially when much more talented wrestlers have not received the same is even more grating. Add in someone like Daniel, who is far better at what he does, with a crowd who loves him, and it adds fuel to the fire.

I don't hate him, and there's no small amount of smarky anti-WWE-booking attached to the backlash, but I'd say he got pretty badly exposed over the past six months or so, too. Some really really rough promos and poor singles matches. He's getting a very obvious push and is really really struggling with living up to it right now.

That's the problem. WWE has done a terrible job of giving a reason for why he should be where's at.
He's had one PPV singles match and all of his TV matches are unremarkable. Is he bad? Not necessarily. But is he bad in a main event spot? Yeah, and that's beyond the performance. Nothing about his character or story is compelling. You can take away Bryan from the equation and there are still a few guys that would be better suited for his spot.

At the end of the day, if you don't see that they're making Brock look stronger than pretty much anyone ever, I don't know what show you're watching. I don't think they've ever pushed anyone like they've pushed Brock.

Isn't all of that more on WWE than it is on Roman? I'm really just looking to figure out if some of you are pissed at Roman or pissed at WWE for pushing Roman. If it's the latter I don't understand why Roman gets a majority of the flack. It's not like he was going to turn down the money and spotlight. He would have been a moron to do so.
The fact that Bryan had, again, a pretty great Mania storyline already in place only adds fuel to the fire but, as you said, even without Bryan Reigns just isn't there yet.

Yeah but the only way to direct your anger at Vince/WWE is to boo Roman. It is what it is. Dude is green as shit. At least Cena had a bunch of midcard singles feuds and worked his way up to a Mania main event. Reigns had one singles feud and now he's hot shotted into the Mania main event.
Of course no one expects him to turn down the opportunity, but fans don't want him and the only way to make that known is to boo the shit out of him.
