I'm not blaming him, I'm just saying that the name sucks. I honestly struggle to think of a worse wrestling name. Just for the sake of it I decided to go over a list of WCW/ECW alumni. Is "Chip Minton" really legitimately worse than "Dolph Ziggler"? Heck, he should try "Loch Ness" or "Rip Rogers".

Again, I'm sure he's a great guy, great wrestler, great worker, I'm not denying that, but the name sucks. Nick Nemeth? Honestly that's a significant improvement.

Since it's an unsuccessful attempt at a joke name, it's not that bad, at least given the context. If it was his actual (and first) in-ring name, maybe Ziggler would be an improvement, but as is? Nah.

Ziggler losing in the opening match doesn't matter all that much. It was a nothing contest barely fit for an episode of Smackdown. They're still pushing Big Show's KO punch so having him sell it makes sense. His push can at least be rehabilitated somewhat if they go back to that D.Brine-Ziggler match they talked about after the Rumble and give them 12-15 minutes to dance at Mania.

After Survivor Series, nothing that he's done has mattered all that much.

As for Ambrose, he's 0-8 as a singles wrestler on PPV through little fault of his own. He's simply not a guy they plan to elevate. Best hope for him is a heel turn and a feud with Reigns after he wins the title. (Although he would still lose those matches.)

And that's a problem, hence my original post.

I watched the whole show and I was incredibly disappointed and bored. NXT Arrival was MUCH MUCH better than this. NXT any day of the week in comparison to that Fastlane event that felt like another Smackdown show. Gosh, I'm disappointed with WWE right now.
