I don't dislike it or anything, just don't really have any interest at all in a Dan/Danny life advice podcast. It needs some additional perspectives (at least for me to want to listen, since a life advice podcast is already a hard sell; if others like it with just those two that's great).

I have nothing but love for both of those guys but I have a hard time believing that I have any use of a life advice podcast by two people who are younger than me who talk about video games for a living
I'd rather search for Mary-Kate's clam.
I like it better when they're talking about games or wrestling or whatever and are being funny. I have zero interest in a life advice podcast.

I like games like Dark Messiah of Might and Magic and Lucius where there's some jank, but you can kill people in really creative ways. What are some other good games like that? Damn Dark Messiah is a great game.

i was going to say danswers is only slightly more serious than My Brother My Brother And Me as an advice show but that's not entirely accurate
I certainly treat them as about the same tier of following-their-advice though
I like Danswers just to hear Dan Ryckert talk but any advice show needs more perspectives than just two white males. Of course, that's a Giant Bomb problem too. That said, Jeff was awesome on it last time because he's just fun to listen to like Ryckert.
I guess what I'm saying is I listen to it more for comedy or getting to know the people on it a little more than actual life help.

Idk. I love advice podcasts, and not because i feel like i've ever needed advice. I just love listening to peoples problems.
It seems they are making an effort to get guests in the future, and i agree that additional perspectives help. But I still think its a fun show on their own.

I don't need life advice and for me Danswers is not about receiving their advice. It's about the entertainment value of just listening to them, their reactions and the stories that are told.
It's like how I didn't relate to the people that call into Loveline who have unprotected sex and get pregnant, or who are on massive amounts of drugs, but I still listened to hear Adam Carolla be hilarious.

I think, if i was on a date with a pornstar, I would do everything in my power to NOT talk about the industry. Similarly to how if I was on a date with Emma Stone I wouldn't talk about the movie industry. I just feel like "famous" people would rather not talk about the thing they are famous for. But maybe i'm wrong.
Dan, you need to make your ok cupid profile public. You are clearly doing something right to get all these dates.
I met my fiancee on ok cupid, but still sometimes getting to that dating step was hard enough!
The danger of talking about movies with Emma Stone on a date is if you mentioned that you thought a certain movie sucked there is probably a good chance she knows somebody involved with the making of it, which could make the rest of your date awkward.

I missed Jar Time. It's exciting to see Jeff so positive in the "state of the site" stuff at the end. They used to be real rough right for a long time, but he seems pretty happy with how things are going now.

Those words don't appear in Brad's review. "one of my favourite 360 games of the year" (2008) is the closest.
I didn't think it was particularly great.

We'll probably discuss this on Danswers, but the first time we met was awesome. We were both 21 and met at a house party and started talking about comedy. She told me "In five years, you're going to see me on Comedy Central." I told her "In five years, you'll see me working for a huge gaming outlet." Fast forward, and we both did just that.

Only a 750 ti.
But slapping it into my 5 year old Dell which was I bought in a rush and on a tight budget because I needed a PC quickly when my brother moved out and took his without much time for saving things up meant I have had been limited it to indie games and low settings @ 720p for pretty much everything else for the last 3 years so its a breath of fresh air.
I am sure if I put something "next gen" in it, it would crumble and the old ass CPU would show but right now I have a backlog of steam sale games thats I can finally start making a dent in. (before Bloodborne puts a stop to that anyway)
