Akuma over Ken would be a mistake, especially since they've discussed making characters feel more unique. Perfect opportunity to give us an exciting Ken and integrate old or new options. Plus, this element motif will obviously have a fire character.

i think that's why he was questioning where the art came from, because all of the other sleect screen portraits are just their 3d models drawn/traced over (they showed this in the official vanilla sf4 blog back in the day)

Characters representing their original series made sense coming into SFIV, because it revived the franchise. But looking at it that way doesn't make sense now. Alpha characters, 3s characters. All that matters mostly is if you were in SF4 or not.

Dudley could be added by himself since he's not associated with other characters. In contrast it's unlikely that they'll add Balrog without Sagat and Vega

I think anyone who was in SF4 and then was put in the original Street Fighter x Tekken cast has a good chance. By original, I mean not the DLC portion of the cast. And I mean to emphasize the order. SF4 first then SfxTekken, I'm not counting Hugo, Poison, Rolento and Elena added to UltraSF4 after.


Of course they could make it more of a 3s emphasized cast since this game is supposed to take place afterwards. I guess we'll see.
