For Nash, it was the day his reveal trailer released.

Now that I think of it, this is his first canon 'present day' appearance. He's appeared so many times that you tend to forget, for what its worth.
All crossovers were non canon and he died in the Alpha prequels, which was the reason Guile sought to destroy Dictator in SF2. So after 24 years and appearing in dozens of games, he's back!
Yeah something to do with Urien for sure, the patched skin is brown a la Urien.
I'm in the camp that like the first trailer's look better. There's some subtle black outlining on Chun-Lis dress in the new one that gives it a bit more cell-shaded look for lack of a better word. More like UMvC3 style outlining. Also the ground textures look much better in the first one. Probably still tweaking stuff, and might not even be in yet, who knows what will stick.

I think you quoted my post by mistake, but I agree anyway. The gem on Charlie's forehead definitely seem to indicate a connection to Urien/Gill. (The skin colors are different though.)
urien is a white man when not powered up tho

People are just speculating based on what information they have. Gill and Urien are genetically engineered weirdoes anyway, they probably do have a bunch of failed versions of themselves and spare bodies just lying around.

They did NOT reuse Decapre animations for Nash.
Do spread nonsense based on your faulty memory.
I have videos open side by side, and the poses/animations are completely different.

Doesn't this make every character with a projectile the dumbest one?
Besides Guile's connection to Charlie this is one of the biggest reason he would still be in. He is a keep away character and one that is very unique in that because he is a charge character.
Most character's have lot more specials but Guile's simple move set and strong keep away game make him a unique character in SF, even more now that Charlie has been uncloned.

Technically, the Honda/Hakan one was originally from a game they where they were both absent: SFxT. That stage was later ported to USF4.
And, I think the Cammy instance is more the exception than the rule. I'd say that 9/10 times, characters who appear in the background of a fighting game don't appear on the current roster.

I don't think there's been enough of a precedent to say it means anything. And considering that Fei Long is a movie star, if anyone is gonna have an ad featuring them appear in-game, it would be him.
