I might not be pro enough at SF4 to understand all the little nuances and frame data stuff about all the characters in the game. But I can tell you that at the level level I play at, fighting a decent guile as T.hawk feels like facing a virtually impenetrable wall of flash kicks, sonic booms at different speeds, and various risk free follow ups.

I am holding out hope for Karin, but they need to speed up the game since she moves very smoothly and quickly.
watch some dieminion matches and you can see tons of thought and little details into things that make watching guile WAY more entertaining.
respect to using Thawk though. I can understand how that matchup would drive you crazy.

I guess the Charlie design doesn't bug me too much since we all know there'll be a slew of DLC costumes.... not to mention the inevitable slew of modded costumes for PC.
I'm digging the higher contrast/saturation look... but I'm not getting attached to the visuals this early on. They could pull a Borderlands and go in an entirely different direction... so I'll just wait and see.

IMO, getting in on Guile doesn't get any easier than SF4. For what its worth, Snake Eyez recently beat Dieminion 3-2 at Winter Brawl. Guile is supposed to beat Zangief 7-3 or whatever ratio you want to throw out. This isn't like ST, where a combination of booms and cr. mk can literally create an unbeatable wall.
On topic, SF5 is looking great. At this point I'm just waiting to see how the roster shapes itself, the gameplay has me pumped.

Because SFIV was originally pitched as a throwback to what fans knew from their childhood/teenage years. The schoolgirl outfit was just too iconic for them to pass out on.
I know it's not canon at all, but in the animated series Street Fighter V (that's the letter "V", not roman numeral 5) a jewel on the forehead meant that the character was being controlled by Bison. Chun Li ended up with one on her for a while:
Despite V not being canon (and a fairly dumb series in general) the look of Charlie makes me think he was repaired by Bison and is being controlled by him as well.
It looks more like the Illuminati gems that Gill and Urien have on their foreheads. Gill's is yellow, Urien's is blue, and Charlie's is green.

The crossovers were non canon, but this appearance seems to be similar to his appearances as "Shadow" in some of the crossovers - a resurrected cyborg warrior.
I think we'll see Urien for sure in V, maybe not in vanilla but he'll be there.
I feel like Urien's clearly already in the works based on Omega mode Seth

But that doesnt make any sense cause epilogue of USF4 shows that outfit after a timeskip, yet they never put it in the game

The first is going to happen/the 2nd might not because of licensing and this is street fighter, i don't know how this works exactly but they might not wish to risk future releases of this game with having to pay someone for this characters inclusion/ the last one is a character that falls under the category harada " no one actually wants this they havent seen this character in a while, no one is going to use this character so why put them in " and I believe he is directly reffering to mika and remember this is the man who stans idol master is making that tutor game and made alisa and lucky cloe and is willing to stand his ground for cheese cake and threw mika under the bus.
Thats why , like tekken you just make in an alt you can unlock.
