Was never a Star Trek fan (kinda always hated the show tbh) and haven't really been exposed to anything he has done, but I always had an instinctive fondness for the guy.
Admittedly i know very little about him, artistically or otherwise, but always seemed like a great, genuine person to me.
RIP

My dog and Nimoy died today, this has been a crushing day :(

And I was just playing Kingdom Hearts BBS to get my mind off it and now this happens. Love him in that game :(

I remember seeing this image last year and having a good laugh.

Now I'm sad. RIP. =(

I recently started watching all the Star Trek movies again and just watched 5 and 6. Every scene with Leonard reminded me how much I love him. I will miss you, Leonard. Rest long and prosper!

This is so weird to me because I never really cared or watched much Star Trek (straight sci-fi isn't really my thing), but I knew him mostly through his other work. But on top of that he seemed like a genuinely great person involved in a lot of cool stuff, and there always seemed to be this mysticism about him. RIP :(

I cannot even begin to describe the impact his acting had on me loving Trek today. I was around 10 or 11 and I still remember yelling to my mom: "Mom, come quick. Mr. Spock is on again!" Because it wasn't Star Trek, it was the "Mr. Spock show".

Saddened doesn't even begin to describe me right now but he will remain in memory as one of the greatest actors and icons of the last century. The fact that his last acting role is in one of my favorite franchises (Kingdom Hearts) makes the feels that much bigger.

I saw this on CNN's obit and it finally cheered me up a bit:

"I had an embarrassing experience once, many years ago," he told The New York Times in 2009. "I was invited to go to Caltech and was introduced to a number of very brilliant young people who were working on interesting projects. ... And they'd say to me, 'What do you think?' Expecting me to have some very sound advice. And I would nod very quietly and very sagely I would say, 'You're on the right track.' "

My grandfather was friends with him growing up and I remember him telling stories about watching Nimoy do children's theater. He was a huge Star Trek fan because of that.

After my grandfather died, I always wanted to ask Mr. Nimoy if those stories were true or if he remembered him. I'll never get that chance now.

RIP Leonard Nimoy.

Noooooo!

Mr. Nimoy is forever a legend. My dad's love of the original crew growing up when he was a kid was why I loved them too; he loved the movies so much always watched them again and again.

I love you Mr. Spock. :(

It was playing the Futurama Star Trek episode on Comedy Central that had the original cast and it still made me laugh something fierce too.
