this is like people complaining about the ending of TDKR. "But Blake isn't ready to become Batman yet!"

It's not an immediate job offer; he doesn't have to start tomorrow. Oliver can be trained to become a better fighter, he can be trained to operate in the League's ways. And it's not like he hasn't had Ra's sense of justice before.

As long as we're talking about shamelessly ripping off Nolan's Batman, the "Training is nothing, the will is everything" line seems especially apt here. Ra's is looking for someone with Oliver's tenacity and demeanor in a successor. The fight skills can come later; those can always be taught.

you have a good point but that ra's stinger at the end of the episode still felt pretty unearned

That would be the worst Question of all time given how she never checked the basement of her club in three years. The Question would've been in there within three minutes of Olli telling her that there is nothing.
Wait wait wait, is that
a picture of Willa Holland? Because if it is, then of course it's not The Question. Though, she does have a strong desire for the truth to come out.

I thought you were jesting. But I am dead serious that this would be a pretty bad transition.
Thea is simply too stupid and satisfied with things people tell her to be The Question. The Question I know is highly paranoid and much more spiritual then Thea is.

Potential spoiler image...

Speedy? Cheshire?

Considering every time we've seen Thea train it's been with a sword not a bow I'm guessing Cheshire

Felicity's leaving to join Supergirl as the love interest

Then off to the Titans to work her way through them

Soo guys... Apparently someone's leaving/dying, as per Amell's Twitter

Hmm if it's just leaving and not dying then it could be Thea. Have her join the league as punishment for killing Sara then come back in a later season as Cheshire.

He has also teased this on Facebook a couple of weeks ago with a picture of him,
Laurel and Roy
so I think we can assume it is one of those two. I think the last one would be the most logical.

Roy's leaving to join the Titans
That would be nice. It would give him something bigger to do.

It's Laurel. I feel it.

She is the least likely to die next to Oliver. There is simply no way they will kill her off after having gone through the effort of building up to her becoming Black Canary. Simply won't happen.

From most to least likely:
Diggle
Malcolm
Thea
Roy
Laurel

The only reason Malcolm isn't number one on that list is because Diggle had a number of death flags raised last episode. Also, the writers have alreeady brought him back once. Malcolm is pretty much teflon until Tommy's return.

If its a death then its Chesthair or Diggle. I can see Malcolm, Roy or Thea leaving with the door left open for a return in the future but I can't see them being killed off.

Diggle would be stupid considering they haven't further opened the HIVE storyline yet. So if he dies, it must be Ramsay's request more.

I wasn't joking at first because
I didn't know that was Willa Holland in the pic. Considering it is, then it's Cheshire.
Him or Chesthair would be the easiest to get rid of, neither are doing much on the show lately.
Whoa whoa now. Diggle just helped invade a fortress and Chesthair's been drinking a lot.
That would be nice. It would give him something bigger to do.
The fact that him having nothing to do is an issue pisses me off. That shouldn't be an issue on a show where he's a main fucking character. If I had to pick one, only ONE, major weakness these writers have...It would be their handling of multiple characters. The bigger this cast gets, the more useless or unimportant these characters seem to get.

Would Amell really he that emotional about Chesthair leaving though? Diggle makes more sense, though that would be a bit premature.

Exactly. No one would expect it.

It wouldn't make much sense but you've got a point there.

Maybe
going by that picture that was shared a while ago, someone isn't dying but just leaving the show. Laurel is still in dire need of training and takes up an offer from Nyssa leading to Katie Cassidy being written out for the rest of the season and maybe next season too. Or Roy getting some more training in off screensville, too bad the Titans show isn't likely to be a part of this show's universe. Or maybe what they're saying goodbye to is Roy's arm, heh.

Are you David S Goyer?

That's just cold.

It's gonna be
Felicity

They've written themselves into a corner there. And her leaving would lead to some good Oliver material given he works best when his life has gone to shit.

What was the name of the kid from St. Elsewhere again? Oh right.

Tommy.

This would be good, or at least getting rid off her for a while. Ollie is the best when he's focused and without distractions.

:)

Maybe she takes off to try to find and make out with Firestorm.

I honestly don't care, she just needs to go. It would help Ollie's journey as he'd basically realise that it doesn't matter if he's with the person he loves or he isn't, bad shit can still happen to them. It would be a nice turnaround from the first episode of this season and a good stepping stone into developing an Oliver Queen persona alongside Arrow.

my vote is Laurel, off to train for a season to return later actually awesome instead of bumbling idiot who falls over after jumping 4 inches.

I'll be upset if Thea is
Cheshire.

Her training is all sword based so far and with her relationship with Roy it looks a good bet she is Cheshire. Although if Roy is the one to leave I suppose that opens up a spot for her to be Speedy
. I can't see her just staying as Oliver's sister and club owner after all this training though.

Colton:
What a rough night. Probably the most difficult day I've had at work in my life. So many emotions all around that couldn't be controlled.

Yep. Diggle's done.

They're not killing Felicity considering how popular she is. Thea and Laurel are safe considering their transformations only have just begun this season. Oliver's not dying again. Roy hasn't gone through any major Red Arrow transformations yet.

The only other person it could be is Captain Lance. However considering he is the only major police character on the show, I really doubt them killing him as there is no logical replacement for the story.

I really hope Stephen puts his acting to the limit...I don't want another Tommy scene.

I want fucking tears and acting out the ass.

I KNOW YOU CAN DO IT STEPHEN!

He posted this on facebook too:

Stephen Amell

Putting the finishing touches on our 65th episode tonight. It features one of the most emotional, touching and heartfelt scenes we've ever produced. Everyone was equal to the task. Long day, but a good one.

Episode 65 is called Broken Arrow..

My guess is on Chesthair :( His death could lead Laurel to grow even more somehow.

Removing Diggle or Roy would be dumb, they're crucial to the team, still can be explored in different storylines.
