I'm in Orlando now, but if he goes back to NYC I'm flying in for that one fur shure.

That's what makes the launch of a new MGS game so special, it sounds silly but it almost feels like Christmas or some other holiday event. It's not just a midnight launch, there is more to it with enthusiastic fans gathering to meet Kojima on his signing tour, people cosplaying, new merchandise to get into, the excitement of speculating what crazy plot twists will there be and more. If it is the last MGS in some ways it will be the shame because waiting for the latest CoD at midnight certainly did not feel as good.

I actually think that's really cool. It makes it special and unique, unlike most "limited edition" game releases, which are basically just a way to sell a more expensive version of the product. Of course, the flip side is when I unable get one, I'm bitter about it.

There was a point where I walked into a store and saw special editions of Gears of War on the shelves when it was brand new and no copies of the normal version.

I have to imagine it'll pop back up similar to the Bloodborne LE, because that's sort of insane especially when LEs are presumably more about getting an extra profit off of enthusiasts, and there's a lot of hungry enthusiasts for MGS!

I stuck in a pre order for the PS4 this morning but I've got no idea f I even want it. I definitely would prefer the PC version.
