I'm going to miss the SD card slot and the extra USB port or two. Wonder how people will manage without them.

LOL. The sheep are going to buy it anyway. What a joke.

Johnny Ive coming through with the great narration for design porn. I love these videos because they provide all types of solid insight into Apple's design process. Look at that glass and those pixels. The only thing pissing me off about this product is the bezel. Give me the same bezels as that Dell laptop. Maybe they'll save that for the new retina MacBooks.

I'd love to mess around with the new MacBook at the Apple Store but I don't think I'll be replacing my Pro anytime soon. Love it and it's ports too much already. Think I'll wait a few years.

And I guess the watch is up next! Can't wait.

without a headphone jack, i wonder if there's ANY possibility to prevent it from going "DUNNNNNNNN" when starting up.

edit: wait, it does that even with headphones plugged in, i think.

those product videos and 3d animations are always so mind blowing. It really sells their products to everyone, regardless of caring or not about it.

Hopefully there will be an actual Macbook Pro with more ports and better internals.

If there isn't I all to rethink my computer choices. I love my Mac but unless there is an adapter with a bunch of ports I don't think this works for me.

That CPU is also not what I'm looking for.

Very attractive device, but man, it's losing a ton and not gaining that much.

Crazy thing is, once the logic board gets a little smaller, I feel like you could very easily make the device more water resistant. Spilt water? Well, probably not on the motherboard.

hate apple all you want... man are they good at selling you shit.

Kinda want this macbook... and I just bought a surface pro 3 2 months ago, and I don't even like OSX

And it has a jack. They just didn't show the right side of the machine in most of the shots.

I believe if you hold the mute button when you power a Mac on, it will silence that.

Their vision is right: everything is going to be wireless in the future. It's similar to what they did to the DVD-drive. That said, this product might be ahead of its time... as too many people are still dependent on many wired accessories.

damn that space grey is fucking hot!

So far it's the only attractive part of the new computers. Apple's race to get thinner and sacrificing functionality to get there is so fucking stupid. They did that with the iPad Air 2 and now I have a device whose screen and entire body vibrates crazily at any volume setting above 3.

I mean...they'll obviously have them in the office. He didn't say he was going to put up with that and use it as his main computer.

I will be interested in its Next Iteration. If history taught me anything, it's that the 2nd iteration of a Mac device is a lot better than iteration #1.

This laptop is making me cry tears of pure desire
