So I definitely did want less wobbly keys in my rMBP 15", the wobble made it feel like a lower end product. That's appealing in the 12" Air. BUT, the key travel is already so shallow in the retinas and current Air, this looks even crazier.

Looks waaay too shallow, I hate this trend!
Core M will also perform under where the current MBAs do.

They haven't had proprietary ports since ADC and ADB, more than a decade ago. USB, Firewire, and Thunderbolt are all standards available on PCs.
