So this watch seems to be giving solutions to problems that simply don't exist. hmmm

they HAVE to show random shit like that.

Jobs spent 20 minutes navigating the iPod app when presenting the original iPhone. There's no apps, no real-world usecases that have developed over months of end user experience.

They have to try to sell you on the watch somehow

i love how everytime the camera cuts back to the crowd there is at least 2-3 guys that are clapping but have the most 'eeehhhh' looking face going on.

so this just happened

1. Steal apple watch
2. Unlock house door
3. Steal shit
4. ??
5. Profit.

1a. Find out where watch owner lives?

Wonder what kind of info can be accessed from the watch if it's not connected to the phone, or if there's any sort of lock functionality if it is.

How many people can complain that it only works with iPhones complain from the other side of their mouth that your house can get broken into in the next 24 hours. Go.

lol, so even can't get a day without charging huh..

There's some authentication thing going on. It detects it left the owner's wrist.

Update:

1. Cut owner's wrist with Apple Watch
2. Unlock house door
3. Steal shit
4. ??
5. Profit.

Does anyone actually do this stuff?

I've used Siri for reminders a few times, but does anyone really check the weather forecast?

I use Google Now (aka "OK Google") to do this on my phone, and now on my smart watch. So, yes. Very handy, especially if you live in a place with variable weather.

I've been following this and really, it looks like the Apple Watch is more functional than I was expecting.
