I would say that the inclusion of the procedurally generated dungeon could possibly be seen as a "next gen" feature. And perhaps how the coop works now with private rooms. It's easy to say that this could all be done on last gen, but I honestly don't know what you expect. I want more of the same, with smoother gameplay, better graphics, and larger worlds; this is what we're getting.
It's not as if they would revolutionize how you play games with Bloodborne. People want more Souls - not something drastically different. We're also at a point where hardware won't suddenly open up new ways to play based on power alone, outside of external things like VR. That's where the extra power of the new system can come into play.
