Have you seen our last 2 games? Trust me, we'll find a way to get you some points.

Well, that's good to know, but I expect your boys to come at us. I'd imagine the EC Championship last year will be on their minds.

Odd. Any speculation on who will replace him?

1651: GOAL Hull 1-3 Liverpool
Dirk Kuyt seals victory with a shot from 10 yards. It is Kuyt's second of the game and he 'Does the Rafa' by way of celebration.

I love David Moyes as much as the next Evertonian but what the fuck was he thinking?

For fucks sake, start Leon FUCKING OSMAN who, after 10 minutes into the Chelsea game, was completely invisible after playing 120 in the FA cup; the dude was so fucked today and couldn't control the ball - should have been on the bench with Gosling starting.

First goal would not have come if Moyes started Lescott/Jagielka. Yobo has proven why he deserves to be third to arguably the best two centre back pair in the league. He heads the ball straight to Elano where the space was exploited; was falling over his feet all day, misstiming headers, horrible stuff; Lescott would have cleaned the scraps and the opportunity for first goal would not have happened. Granted, it was a nice pass, but damn if Yobo didn't fuck around before hand it would not have happened.

Second goal, our men were all over the fucking shop; I blame Yobo again but second goal was a fine pass from Robinho and nice touch from Ireland.

The sting came out of me with the substitutions. Gosling is coming on, all good! NOT. Castillo, Fellaini, and Saha come off - NO FUCKING OSMAN. OSMAN IS FINDING IT HARD TO FUCKING MAKE A TOUCH AND HIS FATIGUE IS GONE YET MOYES KEEPS HIM ON AND BRINGS CASTILLO AND FELLAINI, TOO MEN WHO WERE STILL RUNNING, OFF. Vaughan and Cahill upped the tempo and Dan Gosling proved, with his great touch to goal, why he should have started before Osman.

Oh, and Yobo better UP HIS FUCKING GAME, because Jagielka has done his knee and knowing our fucking luck he's out for the season.

Osman should have gotten a rest and Gosling should have started. Simple.

Oh and Elano made a stupid tackle and Given is a twat for the push but meh its football now I'm scared about Jagielka and our defensive future before Wembley.

FUCK

Haven't heard anything yet. Wouldn't surprise me if the management wants to hold out for someone decent - they have lots of talent there and just need someone to put it all together.

I DO NOT understand why 101Greatgoals is so god damn slow all the time. All they host is text and links! There is no reason for the frontpage to be slow, or any of the pages, since they don't host the videos.

Also :D :D Haven't won in Everton for 17 YEARS before this. I would have been incredibly happy if it wasn't for the fact that it's so UNLOGICAL that we win against a team that is so high up, but loose against shitty bottom teams.

What's the meaning of playing CL if you can't win it?

Agreed. Despite Given push and Elano tackle.

My gripe is with the way we were set up and Osman staying on after being dead physically. It literally got to 9 V 11. As I said, Gosling on, he does his thing, makes a few decent passes, and scores. Oh and James Vaughan is litterally coming deep into midfield and hassling your mids, something a midfielder himself, Osman, wasn't even doing. Horrible he should have gotten a rest.

Bodes well for the derby in two weeks time. Oh wait, it's City, they never show any consistency when it comes to good runs

Pumas - Chivas and America - Tecos will be played behind closed doors this sunday.

Decio de María, secretary-general for Federación Mexicana de Futbol (FMF) informed yesterday, due to the Swine Flu outbreak in the country.

It would be more than logic that all the matches should be played like this, but only this two have been decided so far. There are travelling fans from all the cities, so it can be cause for worries. Some other sport events are being suspended right now, so I don't undersstand why aren't they taking the same preventions for all the other matches, at least until a vaccine is found.

But we played Caicedo, making it 9 V 10 all match.

When we lost against Fulham on the 12th, we had 8 straight home wins (adding 2 Uefa).

Oh I will tell you what:

Losing money due to Champions

AC Milan finished 2008 fiscal year with a loss of €66.8 million; according to the team, the main reason for that is not having played UEFA Champions League.

AC Milan, owned by Italian premier Silvio Berlusconi, admitted they earned €237.9 million; however, vicepresident Adriano Galliani said they can't spend another year out of Champions League.

"Milan are suffering the consequences of not having played the Champions League. A team like ours can't stay out of such a competition for two straight seasons, that's why we're totally focused on earning a spot at the tournament," Galliani commented after the shareholders' meeting.

"Unfortunately we, the Italian people, are the only ones having forgers of sports clothing, and this is something that profoundly affects our earnings. Ten years ago, we earned more money than Real Madrid and Barcelona; now, we just collect half of it," he added.

According to Galliani, there's a direct relationship between profits and sports results. "In fact, Milan are now second at the Calcio standings, and we have the second highest budget among the Italian teams."

"For instance, the British teams collect almost the double of the profits; in addition, Italy has a tax called IRAP (Imposta Regionale sulle Attivita Produttive) and everybody asks me what it is when I go abroad," Galliani remarked.

"Milan pay from €7 million to €10 million for IRAP, and the thing is that this tax is paid either on the salaries or on the added value. If I transfer a player for a certain amount of money, I pay 4% on taxes," Galliani stated.

Still, he said they are not thinking about assigning their share, neither majority nor minority ones.

Took a bit to find the article in english.

Betting?

Because I don't see how favorable are Liverpool and Chelsea's result to Arsenal. Or did you mean Villa and Everton's...?

SPURS!! Darren "Score more goals than Torres" Bent. Interesting to see íf they can hold the lead for five minutes. I guess Macheda will come on to score two in the last fifteen minutes.

I support Arsenal. Do you really think I'm concerned with the title race?

Actually John Carver wasn't even on the sidelines for that win against Chivas. The assistant coach Chris Cummins was the coach for that game.
I figured something was up after that game. I never heard of a coach just choosing to sit out a game before.

I wonder if they will leave Cummins in charge now or hire someone new?

While Lennon's crosses have been superb, I'll have to give the blame for that second goal to Rafael. He drifted too far off his position and left that area WIDE open. Same thing happened with the Porto equaliser in the first leg of the CL quarters

What a save by Gomes when Ronaldo almost copied Alonso's goal today, score on a rebound. He [Gomes] has really shapen up the last couple of weeks.
