tevez has been good. ronaldo, rooney, tevez...working really well second half. good stuff
Exactly... we did a double with that combination. Don't understand why Tevez is on the bench most of the time.

I hear it's 5-2 now (not that I turned on my tele again or anything). I guess they are eating up the goal difference as well. This makes me hate Spurs even more.

That's what I think of Spurs..

Absolutely ridiculous penalty +
Offside goal +
against Spurs
--------------------------
= Best team in the world?

Seems so.

Also nice to know that the FA has chosen the Champion early this season.

Way I see it United have two further chances to lose outright in the league now - against Arsenal and the derby with City. Other games are going to be draws at worst but highly unlikely.

It would be great going into the last match of the season if Liverpool and United were level on points and the championship went to the highest scorer in that match. Seeing as the kickoffs have to be all at the same time, that would be a sensational afternoon.

I'm seeing ads for PES 2009 on the Wii on FSC :) best football game ever. Also *sigh* Spurs always flatters to deceive but never expected them to stand up to United's 2-4-4 inthe second half

Nice lol....its all conspiracy. You do realize all you are doing with this type of thinking is trying justifying your lack of success. And IMO you have no reason to you guys are getting better and next year your squad will be awesome.

Lol, what are you talking about? I'm not a Man U fan, but it was a clear penalty and I haven't seen any goals that were offside. :lol

Tottenham were flapping a bit at the back after the equaliser and United were playing well with momentum, thats how I feel the third came about. But two of those goals were scrambly messy things, they shoulda done better to keep those out. Ah well, bring on the next set of games!

:lol As compared to... Berbatov?

They're both equally inconsistent, but even on his off-days, Berbatov still manages to contribute to our attack with his touches and the odd assist. On his off-days, Tevez is almost completely worthless to have on the pitch. He works hard and that's great but sometimes that's not enough. It's the exact same situation with Alan Smith all over again.

You can also add to that the goal for the fourth never was over the line, just saw the replay, but hey, United would probably have won anyway.

Edit: Cheer up Had though, good news coming
for me
. Sweden up 3 against Austria in the first eight minutes at the WC in Ice Hockey.

Seriously. I really hope he leaves United in June. He would do such a better job at Madrid or Inter.

on rooney's first goal, i think berbatov (?) may have been off

Him and Tevez would work really well, Tevez loves coming short and sucks defenders out, this would give Torres more space upfront to work his magic.

Hrmm... I'll have to watch it again, but I didn't notice anything the first time.

Regardless, Spurs were going to get raped either way. :\

I 'll have to draw a reference to the Fulham loss then. Berbatov and Ronaldo were our main attacking options, and we looked pathetic. However, after Tevez came on, we started to push forward a bit more (granted, Rooney came on and helped a great deal in that regard too, but this discussion is solely on the merits of Tevez vs Berbatov).

Bottom line IMO tho: If we can shell out 30 mil for Berbatov, we sure as hell can dish out AT LEAST that amount for Tevez. He's proven that he's worth it since he joined the squad.

We overpaid for Berba by at least 10 million pounds and Tevez is not worth 32 million pounds for sure.

So do I, but I'm more concerned about third place, or are you actually doubting that we might go down? Where your faith?

Barca will have nothing left after playing Chelsea and Madrid, so they won't be any problem at all for Arsenal.

How awesome is going to be when Arsenal will destroy both of United and Barca's seasons this year.

3rd would be lovely but I don't see it happening personally. I'd be fine with sealing 4th for the CL.

I agree that Tevez probably isn't worth 32 mil, but he's definitely an asset that I think that Man U cannot do without.
We do agree on Berbatov, tho...
