Exactly... we did a double with that combination. Don't understand why Tevez is on the bench most of the time.MrSardonic said:tevez has been good. ronaldo, rooney, tevez...working really well second half. good stuff
I do, but I don't remember Spurs being thereWorm_Buffet said:Remember Istanbul.

Nice lol....its all conspiracy. You do realize all you are doing with this type of thinking is trying justifying your lack of success. And IMO you have no reason to you guys are getting better and next year your squad will be awesome.hadareud said:Absolutely ridiculous penalty +

Also nice to know that the FA has chosen the Champion early this season.

ElyrionX said:They're both equally inconsistent, but even on his off-days, Berbatov still manages to contribute to our attack with his touches and the odd assist. On his off-days, Tevez is almost completely worthless to have on the pitch. He works hard and that's great but sometimes that's not enough. It's the exact same situation with Alan Smith all over again.
Magicked said:Lol, what are you talking about? I'm not a Man U fan, but it was a clear penalty and I haven't seen any goals that were offside. :lol
-Kh- said:Seriously. I really hope he leaves United in June. He would do such a better job at Madrid or Inter.

I 'll have to draw a reference to the Fulham loss then. Berbatov and Ronaldo were our main attacking options, and we looked pathetic. However, after Tevez came on, we started to push forward a bit more (granted, Rooney came on and helped a great deal in that regard too, but this discussion is solely on the merits of Tevez vs Berbatov).ElyrionX said:They're both equally inconsistent, but even on his off-days, Berbatov still manages to contribute to our attack with his touches and the odd assist. Bottom line IMO tho: If we can shell out 30 mil for Berbatov, we sure as hell can dish out AT LEAST that amount for Tevez. He's proven that he's worth it since he joined the squad.
-Kh- said:So do I, but I'm more concerned about third place, or are you actually doubting that we might go down? Where your faith?
Barca will have nothing left after playing Chelsea and Madrid, so they won't be any problem at all for Arsenal.
How awesome is going to be when Arsenal will destroy both of United and Barca's seasons this year.
I agree that Tevez probably isn't worth 32 mil, but he's definitely an asset that I think that Man U cannot do without.ElyrionX said:We overpaid for Berba by at least 10 million pounds and Tevez is not worth 32 million pounds for sure.
