I was getting the vibe that she does trust them and wants things to work. the look on her face when gabriel was fucking deceiving deanna was that she knew there was gonna be trouble after that.

Because it's obvious that she would. And Deanna already commented on how Maggie keeps agreeing that her people are good, so it'd just be redundant.

I suppose maybe they're saving it for the next episode. just like that episode where michonne found rick and carl but didn't show the two interacting till the next episode or whatever.

it definitely wouldn't have been redundant though - deanna & alexandria had no reason to be wary of rick's group until now.
