Was checking http://bfhstats.com and it seems like not many people playing at the moment. Not even 2000 people on 360 vs over 30k on Xbone

Could it be because Xbox One allowed pre-ordering on the store and 360 didn't? Or at least, that might not have helped.

Edit: I guess given the significant differences, perhaps last gen is just dead.

Many people playing on Xbone/PS4/PC

I'd think there would be a high correlation between the people who already own the new consoles and people who are willing to go out at midnight to buy the game.

Anyways, if 24 hours from now this still holds then I'd say it's a good thing. We want people to move from the old consoles onto the new ones.

"Game that isn't released yet is a ghosttown online"

No kidding. Maybe give it a week or two before drawing conclusions.

Yeah, game was JUST released in the US. No digital version on Xbox 360 too. I don't expect massive numbers either way but last gen isn't THAT dead.
EDIT: Honestly surprised there are less PS3 players. Thought Battlefield 4 was bigger on PS3 than 360.

When does this game come out? Oh yeah, tomorrow(I'm in the West coast).

Also, I didn't even know of there was a last gen version of this game.

The kids who are still stuck on last gen also have school tomorrow. Maybe at least wait through launch weekend to declare a game do a. :)

5-6k now for PS3 and X360 and it should go even higher tonight.

Old gen version should be fine for a while, but the population might actually die off in a few months. It's about time that starts happening tho.

Typically Id be shocked to see how low the player count is for the PC version, being that Battlefield is best on PC. But considering this game wasnt fun at all in beta, I wouldnt expect it any other way.

The first Battlefield game that bored me. It is a sad time we live in.

Death to cross-gen games.

Also this is basically only out in the US so far right? Interesting to see so many more people playing on XB1 than the PS4, despite the PS4 selling more.

Why does the pc number look really low compared to xbox1/ps4?

Yup that's the most worrying part, BF was always pc centric so if its starts to get titanfall numbers (even for a bad spin-off) it's really not good. COD:AW player count in lots of playlists was also pathetic during the latest steam free weekends. I am not interested in playing dayz clones in the future to get my multiplayer fps fix on pc...

A few of those are people playing the game through the EA access trial thing I think.

I'm more interested in the fact that more people are playing on xb1 than ps4, considering there's plenty more ps4s out there
