Souls games last forever man. But no doubt you will have people who do not sleep for 3 days though.
We'll see what kind of intricate little things are in this game in regards to like secret bosses ( red phantoms in Demons ) or any sort of World Tendency design or secret armor sets or things like that. I know im going to play through the game using every single weapon in the game.

I preordered from BD a while back. Not sure what their release date is all about though. Might send an email to ask if they are expecting their stock late or its due to be updated.
How do you know if you got the first batch? I ordered a couple weeks ago but didn't see any mention of it.
I think it's two weeks, not a month.
If estimated delivery is March 27th then you have the first batch. April 10 otherwise.

It's probably not, April 10th is the regular date for EU these days.
Nah, Souls-type games aren't for everyone and there's always a number of reviewers who fall in this camp (game is too hard, frustrating, unforgiving, etc...). That said, being the 4th game in the set will have conditioned people on what to expect so I think it will review very well.

So many people here who have never played a Souls game (or couldn't get into them) but are still super excited to get this one... Not saying it's a bad thing - as many people as possible should get into these wonderful games - I just get the feeling some people are getting a little too sucked into the hype here and might end up disappointed. The Souls games have never been for everyone, as they shouldn't, and this one (even if it doesn't have "Souls" in the title) isn't gonna change that. But I hope all newcomers end up really enjoying it!
The extra 3 days of waiting for the UK version are gonna be very painful. I'll probably avoid this forum for the sake of frothing envy. I'd go digital but I need the CE to with the DeS and DS boxes. But from Friday I have a week off and I've decided to not do anything productive and just play this. It's gonna be so good. I really hope I don't die or lose my hands before then.
