BLOODBORNE Spoiler Thread (read OP)

So, yeah, each stat will raise your level by 1 and also increase the Echo requirement for the next stat increase.

:O The doll is now a grill!

A hint for leveling up:

Dump your echoes into vitality, endurance, & ONE offensive stat (strength, skill, bloodtinge, or arcane), don't try to be a jack of all trades.

I have a few questions:

  • How do you save in this game? Is it at every death? So people will not be able to just turn off their console to preserve items when they get crushed by a boss correct?
  • Are there different version of every weapon? Or is there only one cane/greatsword/etc that you need to upgrade?
  • How do you aquire clothing items?
  • Can you kill mobs with stealth so that you do not attract others?

healing seems so much faster, is it known if you can use that crap in PVP yet? seems way too fast and abusable. has anybody played pvp yet since i heard it got patched in today?

  • When you quit the game without dying, you start right where you quit *It does create a new save when you hit quit though, so maybe you can abuse if you turn the console off, but it'll most likely revert to a slightly older savepoint if you do.
  • Probably a few variants, there are upgrade materials that are said to make the weapons unique in various ways
  • Buy them from a vendor and drops and chests (I think?)
  • Probably not, they seem quite agressive, but it's probably possible to bait them one at a time if you're careful like in previous Souls games

Gehrman? You ain't fooling anyone Grandahl

Probably not, I don't remember how it is in DS1 but in 2 invaders cannot use healing items at all.

I've already spoiled myself on a bunch of weapons and names of bosses and stuff, so I think I'm going to stop watching streams and seeing what locations are actually like. Game looks incredibly fun. I need to resist the urge to spoil myself on everything until Tuesday. See you all then!
