NPCs can reward you with unique gear or full armor set of said NPC, so yeah you had to kept them alive by the end of the journey.
 
Omg, all these people who've never played soul's games. Good job marketing, but there is gonna be a lot of rage quitting.

Pdiggy is just way too...scared of the boss

With regular guys he is bold. He gets to the boss and sits back, lobs a few molotovs and then freaks out

As is the case with From's bread and butter games. Armored Core and their dark fantasy games are rife with division and praise, often at the same things.

yeah, i agree

as excited as i am for this game, even if i could get the game right now, i'd probably still just wait until it goes live for everyone before i started it for myself

i started Demon's Souls, Dark Souls, and Dark Souls 2 all on release day (twice for DkS since i was impatient and couldn't just wait for the PC version) and seeing all the player ghosts and bloodstains and messages everywhere is way too cool to miss out on just to be able to play it a few days early. eventually those become less dense and it's still cool, but they're always all over the place on day one, and it's awesome

It won't score less because of loading time.

Alien Isolation on PS4 had pretty bad ones and I don't think it got worst reviews because of that..

Well to be fair, he was probably referring to the comment that some developers from FROM is even having difficulty clearing NG+.

Though this really shouldn't be surprising at all, a lot of developers suck at their own games.
 
Hopefully they can optimize it further through patches after. Would like die'n to not be further penalized by load times. Lol
 
Hopefully there will be an early patch that greatly reduces the load times. And Skyrim had load times upon load times with load times that had load times and it got like a 96 MC Score with hundreds of GOTY Awards so if Bloodborne is docked a lot of points it probably won't be due to the load times.
 
Seriously is there anyone better than From when it comes to art style in RPG's? Big M is freaking masterly. I have not seen an art style so consistent and cohesive in such a long time. It is so well thought out and so freaking detailed.
 
I don't seem to remember The Order having points added for its impressive load times. Seems odd for the inverse to happen with BB.

I mean....fast loading should be praised though, and long load times should be criticized. Maybe the problem with The Order is that it apparently had enough to hate that people didn't even realize how quickly it loaded.

Of course it will affect reviews; people die a lot in these games for a plethora of reasons and the constant lengthy load times add up.

Watching that Russian stream was infuriating, as the dude had to wait forever every single time to get back in the game.

Load times are literally the only thing this game needs fixed, the rest is fantastic.

A bit more AA wouldn't hurt either :/

People that have played the game has said good things about the IQ and framerate.
