Also there's no 8, there's only 6 and 6.5/7 depending on how you view it, Xros Wars and Xros Wars Death Generals directly connect to each other, but Young Hunters doesn't (and thank goodness for that)

Man, it really feels like they have nothing. If it wasn't for the fun these threads have provided, this would have been a giant waste of time.
Like I said before, considering how fucked 02 was, having new people might not be a bad idea.
As for it being delayed or not. Most Spring anime start end of March/beginning of April so if we don't have a PV by the end of March along with no air date, then yup it's delayed.
Well it has been fun to discuss Digimon with you guys so I'm happy in that respects.

I only watched the 4 first seasons and Angewomon, Kazemon and Zephymon were the most "sexy" designs I knew. But these boobs are in a new whole level.

The new anime's start airing between 2-4 weeks from now iirc...They're really cutting it close aren't they.

Very close. Most spring anime tend to start in the first week of April. Hell apart from Xros Wars and Adventure (former was Summer, latter was March), each Digimon series started in April. I think I even posted each animes start date some pages back.
So yeah, point is. Cutting it very close if they still plan to have it air in April and I am 100% confident that whatever is happening has been decided.
The TV station would need advance notice so they can fill the timeslot with something else so either it's been delayed and they haven't told us yet or it's still airing and they are wanting to keep us on edge about it when it's really just pissing us off.

I wouldn't compare CS and Adventure PSP personally. One is based on the story games gameplay systems (with the adventure battle system) and the other is based on the anime.
Both games are good (though Adventure PSP is held back by the... PSP) and Adventure is easily one of my favourites purely because of the anime and how well they kept to the anime story in it. While Cyber Sleuth is already easily my most favourite of the Digimon Story games.
I just couldn't compare Adventure PSP to any previous Digimon games (not even the PS2 Data Squad because that was based on the anime but didn't follow the anime story like Adventure PSP) unless another game came out that followed the anime story ie Adventure 02 which would be awesome with Armour evolutions or Tamers which would be awesome since you could use different cards to power up your Digimon in battle, etc.

Oh I know, but I already know the story of the adventure game off the back of my hand and other than the end game content & the mega evolutions thre's nothing really new+ yh it's on the PSP. CS is new and original and I can play it on my vita ><.

That does seem fun - but i still think an original story+game is better. Also Digimon World 1 is my shit. I don't see the repetitiveness - although i only play it every 2 years or so. Also bare in mind it's a ps1 game, I've played blander non-indie ps3 games. The amount of content in it still surprises me.
My point was, comparing these two (the best Digimon Story game to (imo) the best Digimon World game) then Digimon world 1 is at least as repetitive as DS:CS. The training stats stuff just to get a Champion (and redoing it once the Digimon dies).
And yes it is a PS1 game so I can't be too hard on it, it's still my most favourite Digimon game after all.
I replay it once a year and tend to start in the Morning. Doing that, I easily end up through the main story by the evening.
I think last playthrough, I ended up with Yukidarumon/Frigimon -> Mamemon (and then tried for MetalMamemon in Factory Town... I forget if I succeeded in getting him though).
My most proud moment still is when I got MegaSeadramon and HerkulesKabuterimon. I forget which I got first but I was rather proud when I got both.

I think that repetitiveness was fixed in RE, and even then it's mostly on how to raise mons (which harkens the V-Pet stuff). I dunno, DS games feel like generic turn based RPGs.
Well, you're not entirely wrong.
The sequels just built on top of the previous games (not to mention pretty much share the same engine as far as the DS games go).
They do end up being pretty repetitive though.
Well... Cyber Sleuth is better than the DS games from what I've played so yeah...
