This is what I'm thinking. It's obviously counting down, not sure what else this could be...
Don't worry, I was mostly joking on the fact that this kind of games (like danganronpa in particular) gets always port begged to death and this will be no exception when/if it'll be on the same platforms.Then again, don't take it as an offense, but port begging is against the rules, hence why I'm defending myself on this one, as I don't consider breaking the rules
Two days ago it was 0303 so 0001=2 days.

Oh and, Aksys, if it's not Zero Escape you better write "It's not Zero Escape" on the next update if you don't want to start riots.

Anyone know the exact time that it changed? I'm guessing that it's about the same time that the site went up, about 21:40 ish? Wonder if that's significant too, seems an odd time to update otherwise.

If we take the time of change of 0001 as 48 hours, it would about to hundreds of days.
However, maybe it is given in radical 6!
(sqrt)6 is roughly 2.45. When I divide 48 by the square root of 6, I get 19.59 something.
Therefore, we can (probably) assume that a change of 0001 equates to approximately 19.59 hours real-time.
Moreover, we can conclude that (by 302/19.59) an announcement is due in 15 (15.41) days.

I thought perhaps the numbers 0303 was HEX, equaling 771 in decimal (anyone who plays 999 loves HEX, I'm sure). However the countdown change in regards to 771 is too slow to mean minutes, and too fast to mean days.
Perhaps more will become clear in the future.

I think people are assuming / hoping the first 2 numbers represent: 0 escape 3
I think the bunny in VLR was also called Zero III
Hope you're right, could be the simplest explanation. Lehow mentioned they changed the site's structure. Maybe that postponed things by a day.

I might be doing it wrong, but I tried to get A.jpg and B.jpg through a program called "stegdetect" (to see if there was anything hidden in the image) and, in my experience, there was none.
We also should figure out how and why the pictures with the anagrams appeared out of nowhere.

They still need to update the site with whatever those words are going to be used for. I assume that will happen before the announcement, so it probably won't be that soon.

Yup. The question is if they were supposed to be found or if they were meant for a later date, maybe after some clues were released first.

The optimist in me wants to believe this means Zero 3 will be revealed in 2 days, i.e. that second zero is a red herring.
Did they ever feature a multiplatform game?
It's an idea for a countdown that works for announcement and something else.

No idea, I guess we'll see in a couple of days. It's just the length that it would be if it was a countdown, plus it not updating every day, although if it's not updating daily, I suppose it also doesn't have to go down 1 at a time.
