Bloodborne PSN Pre-Load has started

I think I could afford a PS4 just for Bloodborne but that's crazy. I need a cold shower for the hype.

haha that is pretty funny... wondering about all the sudden Halo 5 ads I am seeing? I guess that's normal? but seems wayyy far away to start advertising for that game... maybe they always do that.

Unless it's a change of procedures for Sony it should be fine as I've not had issues with any games I've done this with before. There's a bit of delay when switching between accounts and the countdown updating when it checks online so there may be a way around it if it is a problem.

I can understand why Sony may do this but it's not really an issue for me as I'm not going to have much time to play it before Sunday anyway but it will annoy me with the game just sitting there and staring at me without me being able to access it. :)

We definitely need an OT up when the game goes live so maybe someone can make a temporary one if it's not ready by tonight.

That's what I'm thinking. Maybe he should just put up a WIP OT. Going more then 12 hours after release without an OT seems crazy.

I checked his post history, he posted at 2:12 AM and again at 4:57 AM, then 5:17 AM and nothing since (Those are all MST).

So either he never sleeps or he's in EU/Asia and is sleeping right now.
 
The OT should be up right this god damn instant.
 
Since there's no OT I decided to put my excitement in this thread, just ended up picking it up at my local mom and pop shop. I was planning on going to the gym today, but maybe that will have to wait lol

If the OT isn't up by the time the game releases, then he forfeits the thread and someone else will put something up. An OT is a place for people to talk about a game first and foremost. Delaying that because you aren't done with your free marketing page for the game isn't acceptable.
 
We're gonna put up a minimal OT till the "real" one can go up. Definitely need a centralized place to talk about the game by the time it releases.

It is downloading the full game. Press options over the game icon and go to information.

It just downloads the initial download and then you can play it, but it keeps downloading in the background. If you preload the game it will download the whole thing, it just won't show up in your download list.

Go to the Bloodborne tile, press options button on controller, and check the information

Thanks, checked it and it's at 19gb so far. I read the OP, but for whatever reason didn't see the Bloodborn "icon". Went through the notifications to see if I could mess with them in there and wasn't bringing up the information option (or just missing it). I just set up the PS4 two days ago.

Luckily, as long as you have the day one patch downloaded, you can play the game without having the full download completed.
 
You guys are starting to worry me with this EU release stuff. I haven't preordered yet as I'm waiting for reviews (sorry hype-GAF), but I'm off Weds afternoon/Thurs/Fri, and REALLY want to play it as I'm working weekend.

Do we think I won't be locked out if I buy and download it when it's released in America (P.S. When is that in GMT)?
 
Is the pre download still not up for the EU ? my internet is slow as hell and will need all the time it can get to be finished by the games release

Go to your Library > Bloodborne > Options > Information

After the 5GB part is downloaded, it auto-downloads the rest in the background. You can only see the progress from the Information screen.
