Enjoying the Hunter Axe. When 2 handed it feels similar to the halberds from Dark Souls, but much less clumsy. Going to go for a quality build the first time through and try out every weapon I can. I'm glad I didn't spoil much of this game for myself. Nothing like going through one of these games for the first time.

When you reloaded, is he still around somewhere? I haven't played the game yet, so I don't know if you actually aggro'd him or killed him. Did you actually hit him? The NPCs usually react to that, did you hear him grunt in pain or anything? Maybe he is supposed to disappear.

Just be careful around NPCs. In the Souls games, you can actually kill some and take their armor/weapons. But it's kind of a dick move unless they're one of the evil NPCs.

It is your stamina. Attacking and dodging deplete it. It's increased with the endurance stat.

Haha, that's your stamina bar. You can only dodge and attack till it depletes. It needs to fill up again to do any of that again.
Prepare to die a whole fuckin lot.

Wow, I wasn't expecting it to work but suspend/resume works fine in online mode as well. Took a moment for specters and such to appear again but still - no booting to the menu or anything.

Put points into Endurance if you want more Stamina.
And yes, you want to have more Stamina.
Press Square.

You have to be extremely thorough or you'll miss shortcuts super easily.
If you encounter a extra long stretch of time without either a shortcut or a lantern you probably missed a shortcut back to your previous lantern. I've found two such shortcuts so far and they're both huge time savers.
Also I'll ask again, is anybody not seeing the Spectre when you click on it? The death vision.
