Bloodborne PSN Pre-Load has started

Same thing happened to me. Stuck at work now so no chance to re download until later, will be interesting to know if it works

After deleting, I am downloading game again from US PSN. :)

That's good to hear mine is re downloading whilst i'm at work.

Was yours available on your EU account straight away or did you have to switch to your US account first?

When my console turns on it logs straight in to my UK account I don't want it to lock again.

Same happens to me. I will remain in the US account until PlayGo sections is downloaded. After I enter into a game once, then I will return back to my primary account.
 
Well. Probably should have read here first. In my desperate attempt to update the US timer, I deleted my EU account and all my saved data with it. :D

Re-installing now..

If it does lock again, I will delete and download again. I only have to download 5GB until I can PlayGo on my US account so that won't take too long.
 
When you say validate on your US account, what do you mean? I bought it online at 5am this morning (...), I'm at work and currently the PS4 is turned on, logged in to my UK account, downloading. I think I left it on the start -> info screen, to see how much it had done.

Will that in itself lock me out? Or do I actually need to launch with my UK account before it does that? If I log in to my US account before running the game, will I be OK?

I'l just wonder if being sat on the information screen is enough alone to throw up a flag.

Most likely, yes.

My console was left on the what's new tab and unfortunately ran into this problem. It only seems to affect the unlocking of pre-load however, service as normal if you redownload.

Nope.

If you are on UK timer it will force the timer on UK permanently.

You need to download and launch game on US account before going back to EU account or it will lock itself.

So during the entire download process, the game has to be on the U.S. account? That will be awkward, considering it's a family members PS4, and I'm sure he would like to log in to his and play GTA.

Worst case is I won't play it tonight (although you only need 5GB? Maybe get an hour in...) and download it overnight.

Edit: worth noting that I'm not downloading the preload - I'm downloading the actual release from the U.S. store, as I wanted to wait for reviews. Therefore, technically, it's downloading the 'unlocked' version. Whether my UK account overwrites that, I'll see I guess.

RIP Australia, will we even get a preload? It's set to go live in just over 3 hours.

So annoying that we get lumped in with Europe for preloads but get a different release time.
 
Under 3 hours until it unlocks here and still no preload available. What's the point of releasing at midnight if you can't preload it? This is the last time I'll preorder a game from PSN.

Being stuck with EU for PSN sucks big time. It's nice that we get the game earlier, but it's pretty pointless if nobody in the country will be able to finish downloading it until halfway through tomorrow.

This as far as I'm aware is always the case with cross regional pre-loading these days, it applies the unlock time of the region you're physically in (which leads some to incorrectly believe you can no longer unlock things 'early').

However if you download it after it's unlocked in the US it will be unlocked as appropriate.

Then you will have no problems.

You don't have to leave anything signed in, just start the download from US account as usual. The problems only arose from unlocking the pre-load.

The EU preload is supposedly starting at around midday GMT, so hopefully that will give us Aussies a whole one hour of preload time. Better than a kick in the arse I suppose?

I live in Saudi Arabia. Still no pre-load. And 10 hours till midnight. Its frustrating.
 
Im at work so i can't check it.
Has the preload started yet for EU? i just can't understand why doesn't SCEE gives us a couple of days to preload like SCEA does.

Thank goodness. I left my PS4 downloading when I left this morning. It'll still take most of the day on my crappy internet, but at least I'll be gone most of the day.
 
So if pre-loading starts in 20 minutes, I have 11 hours to download 20gb of content (BB is 20gb right)?

If I have 8Mbit, will 11h be enough for 20gb?

Its about 30Gb afaik + 3Gb Patch.
8Mbit should be 3,5Gb/h.

So you will need about 10 hours IF you get full speed.
 
I am in Australia also. So can we start downloading the game at midnight?

Reason is I want to start the download at midnight if possible, so it finishes at around 10am in the morning. If not available at midnight, I will go to the store in the morning and grab a physical copy.

Less than 12 hours until it unlocks here and still no pre-load. This is bullshit. I have fast internet but who knows how this will go with the shitty PSN speeds? Might not even be able to start it at midnight.Thanks for nothing SCEE.
 
Will pre-loead start automatically if PS4 is in Rest Mode, or should I turn it ON for it to trigger?
Just happened so, that my previous pre-orders didn't download anything, until I came beck at home late evening.
 
UK here - I was able to start the download by going onto the ps4 Library and selecting Bloodborne.
