Should have some videos up soon of killing the first enemy
the werewolf in the clinic
on the first attempt, the first attempt kill of the
Cleric Beast
, and the
Father Gascoigne
fight.

Might also upload some commentary versions depending on if my voice meets sexy GAF standards to help those struggling.

I will say the invasion system seems really disappointing... :(

Back in the good old days I'd use my red eye stone to pop into someone's world and kick em down pits and swarm em while they were dealing with giant worms and dashing to the boss gate.

And they did the same for me - it was a beautiful give and take 😪

Now we got this "Searching for Sinister Bell" shit? Cmon From, don't do this to me baby.

How much is it recommended that I upgrade the Cane? I've forged it once, but I don't want to invest a lot of Bloodstones into it if I'm gonna get another weapon soon. I did the professional so I'm a skill based build.

Tried to kill the gatling gun guy legit,
but he destroyed me. Next time i lock on and shoot, shoot, shoot. He fell to his death. LMAO

When he fell to his death and died, did you get the emblem that unlocks the two new weapons at the shopkeeper still?

when will i find the first insight? or even another hunter's dream checkpoint. i have the one on the roof but that's it

You actually don't have to fight the first boss. If you venture into the sewers (passage by the 2 wolves on the bridge to the first boss) and follow it to the end you will get an item that gives insight. Hope that helps

Oh man the blood starved beast is wrecking my shit. I do fine until it grabs me or I need potions/antidote and cant keep enough distance. Its so erratic acting when it enrages. Having a way harder time than I did with Father G. I need backup..

I can help out in a bit. Or I'll give you a tip how I did it.
In the first part of the battle, you can parry his attacks relatively easily. Once he screams out and gets faster, pepper him with oil and Molotovs.

Man, such an amazing game. Wtf at the second boss though.

Father Gascoigne pounced me 5-6 times in a row when he had like 5-10% hp - impossible to parry or even hit him once and I just died every time. Happened every attempt and I just decided to call it a night. Ridiculous. The rest of the fight is easy, but unavoidable pouncing? Not so fun.

His loot ended up in an inaccesible place. I exited the game and when i came back his loot
was on the top of the tower.

I'm having trouble doing the second thing. He won't fall.

I have the pistol.
Locked on him while still on the ladder. Shot him 3 or 4 times. If you take too long he will walk away from the ledge.

Oi gaf need help because ocd won't let me move on. Theres an item on a balcony right near the spot where you get
the numbing mist
how in the hell do I get to that balcony?

Anyone? :(

So who was the 2nd boss? Just
some priest from the church? and the Church leaders, they cleansed the infection, but then locked everyone out and kept it for themselves
?

Also, from what I gather so far,
he got infected? Why am I not infected when I get attacked? Where IS the hunter's dream?

If these get answered later on I dont want to know, but was there a context given prior to release/in the manual or anything like that?

So at one point those big dudes with the axe that are all around the cathedral ward started praying and stopped being lethal. Is this part of world events or something?

The Cleric Beast is impossible. I just spent the past hour dying and dying cause of that asshole. Anyone have any tips? I'm using the hunter axe and pistol.

Oof. He just fell off and killed me at the same time. Going to see if his stuff is up there.

Holy fuck, dogs are the worst enemy in this game so far, and now I’m up against black dogs of doom with blades all over them, and it’s night time.

Finally beat Father G and I couldn't of ended it in the most bad ass way possible. Killed him while he was midair right when he jumped with my last molotov.

He was the
father of the girl who gave you the Music Box

The more you go on and the more the game gets amazing, I don't know how From is able to do this. The enemies design is unbelievable and the level design is the best in the series.

his AI went retarded on my first run so I pretty much cheese him

The second time I beat him I just stayed under him and dodged all his attacks and ran when I knew he was about to grab me I had my Axe upgraded to lvl 2 too

Thoroughly enjoying Bloodborne so far! Although it's probably the easiest Souls game if I can already make that conclusion in my first couple of hours playing this game. Beat the first two bosses on my first try and had no real troubles apart from getting used to the game in the first hour. The main 'issue' is that the game drowns you in health potions. More often than not I'm running around with 20 health potions and every other enemy still drops 1 or 2 extra health potions. Kind of takes the tension out of the game.
