Sigh, game needs a map, I have to find the cleric beast but have not much of an idea to where he is.

You're gonna start remembering the different areas and routes sooner or later. I much prefer this kind of stuff, since there's no map you're bound to miss stuff you'll find later on in subsequent playthroughs. Unless you're REALLY going through every corner, like I am. Time consuming, but fun.

Actually I was wrong, it's when you buy the key emblem for the door (one that costs 10k) and unlock it.

Travel back to Father G area, I'm sure she'll be there?

Ah, that's what I did, and I didn't know she was supposed to be in that area, looked around the Cathedral, couldn't find her, so I went back to the sewers and killed her anyway.

Would've saved me lot of hassle, dying and quite possibly a rune.

Oh well.

spawn in the center of town. hopefully you have opened the gate in front of you to the left. if you have then go through there. kill the one guy at the top of the stairs. enter the house at the bottom of the stairs. go up the stairs in the house. go out the door upstairs. at the top of those steps, turn left down the bridge. the cleric beast is right past the fat bald troll.

Excellent directions, thank you.

My last question from the last page, do enemies level up with you?

Maybe you can try summoning help and hope they can beat the boss for you. Or does the game freeze completely at the boss?

It slows down almost to the point of freezing. Cant move my character, most I can manage is like one attack.. Didnt think of summoning though, good idea and worth a shot.

Wife saw me play for a few minutes and she asked what makes the game good. Not in a condescenting way, she really was curious as she does play videogames every now and then.

How would you have answered? I mumbled something about challenge and atmosphere, but in the end I could not give a short answer. It felt like I'd have to talk about different game design tropes and how this game differs and she would have to listen for me rampling about games for 15 minutes (which she sometimes does).

So uh, this Cleric Beast. Just ran into it.
Can you parry the thing with your gun? Or am I just wasting bullets?
Also I feel like I'm fighting the camera more than the boss >.>

So... that 10k badge, is essential to go to that area, or there is a workaround about going there, like with the forest in Dark Souls?

Wow. I went to warp where the Father G fight was and it said it was unavailable or something like that.
Went over there and the crow lady was fighting a hunter. I died the first time. Second time went back and they were still fighting. Hunter managed to kill the crow lady and me. Went back an d third time and there was a crow hunter badge on the ground. Hunter was still there so I took off. it's so weird it triggered now. I warped there yesterday with no problem. Maybe beating the blood starved beast unlocks it? That was the last boss I beat. Shame she died.

Is it possible to complete the main story line without beating the
Shadow of Yharnam
fight in the
Forbiden Forrest
?

Everytime I go through the fogwall to the boss my game slows down to 1 frame per second making it impossible to complete the fight. Upon death Im sent back to the lamp post, were everything runs like normal again 100% including the other areas and boss fights.

Its a digital copy and I already tried deleting the game and redownloading with no success.

My question is, can I complete the main storyline or do I have to start over with the hopes of this not happening again

Same happened to me but in coop. The framerate turned normal after my character went fully through the fog wall. Playing the whole fight like that? Damn.

Does anyone have directions to get back to the
little girl?

I've been wandering around the beginning areas for 25 minutes trying to find her again.

You can, but it's really hard. The camera is deceptive in that fight, you think getting up close would be the wrong thing to do due to the camera, but it's actually the best thing you can do. The camera is set up in such a way that you can still see all of the boss's tells up close and that makes them very easy to dodge through.

After wasting four hours on Rom, I think I'm done with the game. It's easily the shittiest boss encounter they've designed so far.
People that say to ignore the adds are relying on blind luck, because when you do that you risk getting stunned from the side or behind with either a dive or spit, which leads into you either getting hit by Rom's homing ice bullshit, his melee explosion or his super fast thrash.

I've gotten him down to 20% multiple times, but then there's literally 100+ spiders on the screen making an opening impossible.

"Just summon help" isn't the correct answer. No boss should require assistance.

Real problem for me was
the meteor shower attack that he keeps doing if you are too far from him.
Here's how i did kill him.

How do you get there ? I killed him and just got to the woods after.

Hope you don't miss this reply but at the church, instead of ascending to that locked door you need to buy the key for, go around to the right immediately before walking through the entrance door. There's a DeS 2-2 style falling section.

I remember there was a street with loads of windows and doors to talk to people, and there was some fog and a couple of people and werewolves patroling. I want to go talk to them again because of reasons, but I can't remember where it was. Anyone knows?

Hah. I was just curious because sometimes I lose my TV with my PS4 to the wife, or visiting in-law!

remote play works really well, R2/2 are mapped to the toucscreen. may be even better if you switch L1 with R2, so that light and charge attack are on triggers and pistol and weapons switch are on the touchscreen.

do you mean left from the cathedral before you enter the plaza?

If you
climb the ladder in the sewers near the pool of water with all the legless enemies you'll find her.
That's how I got to her the first time at least. There might be an easier way, though.

why would anyone ignore the adds? sure you wouldnt want to kill every single one of them but when they crowded near the boss you need to thin their numbers to create an opening. Also hit and run. Dont do combo on the boss.

Need HELP!
So I was fighting the bloke on the tower who shoots at you with tha machine gun until you reach him and the fucking idiot fell off the edge. Killing himself in the process. Question is. What did he drop that I missed?

Yep the entire fight through the "You Died" message. Then a loading screen, back to spawn point and everything is working properly again.

quit the game and continue. The drop should be on top of the tower.

Fuck, had the clerk beast down to half health then he got me. Camera sucks in tight areas.

The cleric beast has a lot of moments where he's vulnerable for attacks. Right after he attacks in front of him you should dodge twice so you're at his rear to get a few swipes in.

When he does his red-glow scream he's vulnerable to a full charge R2 attack, which does huge chunks of damage.

Also, try not to remain locked on at all times. It makes the positioning more difficult than it should sometimes.

Just reload the game. His stuff will be on the ledge.

After killing Vicar Almeria, when returning to Hunter's Dream, you won't be able to teleport anymore to the Tomb of Oedon, the reason is because she's fighting a hunter at that precise moment where the lantern is. You'll need to find your way back to the cemetary where you fought Priest Cascoigne from another lantern point.

3rd encounter:

Then later on when you beat the Spider Boss, you'll find her again outside of the Grand Cathedral. That's when you'll receive the Badge of the crow.

Thanks. Missed out on the 2nd encounter so she's attacking me now. ;_;

I had the same problem, but the framerate would go up for me after 15 seconds before they could hit me. have you tried playing offline?

Pretty much it. The game doesn't hold your hand, it makes you fight and die and learn from it until you overcome it. It forces mastery and punishes sloppy play. Slaying a boss by learning its mechanics, its attack timings, and opportunities to counter feels like a true achievement. The atmosphere complements the gameplay perfectly, feeling just as harsh and unforgiving as it is to play.

Sony made me log out of online. So now I had to download an update for my Bloodborne machine. Better not mess nothing up Sony. Or I'll give Ya the ol' south paw special.

Klyka says: Try having a go at re building the PS4 database. He said its easily googleable on how to do it and that might help you.

Anyone have a problem with
Eileen the Crow
side quest?
Tomb or Oedon lanter is inactive but Eileen is not there. :(

Would have been nice to know that lead elixirs make you as heavy as lead so you can't move >.<. They are good for not taking damage from guns but you really can't move at all so you can't dodge.
