I only had an hour last night to play, so instead of moving into the Cathedral went back to first area to hunt and search. Holy shit I missed so much just in the starting area.

Fucking love this game.

Forbidden Woods spoiler:
eh, so yeah, I'm worried that the shady guy I led to safety from the Woods just killed the nasty older lady who was waiting at the chapel. Should've thought about that, since I found him over a dead body in the Woods... I'm worried it's another DeS assassin problem, should I just put that guy down now before everyone dies?

What does the gatling gun guy drop? He fell from the tower during battle and the item got stuck mid-air :/

EDIT: All good now. I died, came back and it was right near the gatling gun.

Bloodtinge is really awesome. I deal a nice chunk of damage with the pistol only at +3. Combine that with the Bonedust ( I think that's what it's called) and you can one shot some enemies. I wanna level Skill and Bloodtinge to 40 but if I do that, I'll end up being like level 140 if I wanna have decent health and stamina (30 Vit and En). Has a general consensus been reached as to what the best soul level for online is?

I was thinking of going Skill Bloodtinge too when the game finally unlocks at midnight (screw the UK game release dates XD). Probably won't take Skill to 40 though. I'll probably get enough skill to wield the
reiterpallasch
then focus on finding an awesome fire arm. Trying not to spoil too many of the weapons though. Want most of it to be a surprise.

Finally had some time to play last night. Still at the beginning but did alot of exploring and just taking in the atmosphere. I'm definitely liking it over the DeS. From absolutely nailed the setting.

Combat really feels great. Camera is kinda jank but that's par for the course. Can't wait to get further along!
Yeah I played for one hour and the setting is do freaking awesome.. The atmosphere is fantastic

...play it cool, don't look back, don't look back

Enemies that you find in early areas are stronger when you find them again in later areas as well.

It's in the same area i've been before.
Stairs that lead to Vicar Amelia.
I might be mistaken though. Maybe they had the buffs before.

Several people have suggested that the more Insight you have, the more things appear.

Ah, that's interesting. I had 20 insight but i spent 12 buying stuff from the vendor. Maybe i'll pop some insight consumables and see what happens.

Does anyone know if bloodtinge is just damage, or if it widens the parry window? Don't care about the former, the latter is interesting to me.

I love this question. Do it, you're in for a surprise.

Soo just double checking- I basically skipped the Cathedral area, and am in the machine gun zone. Am crushing through these enemies. Should I finish the Cathedral Area, or just keep pushing on?

Keep going, explore, open shortcuts, kill everything including the machine gun guy. You are in the section with the boss that most people do third.

I have been thinking a lot of about a Bloodtinge BUILD!

Get he repeater, Use Blood Bullets, Gem for as much health regen as possible

I wonder how viable it would be!

So are chalice dungeons truly procedural generated? I saw people saying they could out level them and stuff. I thought they were supposed to be made based on your level and stuff.

Have people discovered how many different types of bosses there are in the chalice dungeons?

I completely missed this. Time to go exploring after I take down the boss I'm working on now.

So this is something that happened to me. After defeating , nothing major spoilerific here
Rom i went to the Grand Cathedral for my final quest line of Eileen the Crow so i could join their covenant, and receive the oath quick recharge stamina rune. So what came after Rom
was way more difficult then i experienced in game , fight is tough , maybe i was underleveled, does not matter , i died a view times , so after that i tried to lure him out https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Jl8Wk3YM9s8&spfreload=10
for some reason he did not stop dual wielding his katana which was stealing his energy ,on top of that he did not use any blood vials as before
This needs to be fixed. Destiny cheese is strong in me lol.

Guys can someone help me?

Before fighting the Blood Starved Beast on Old Yharnam, you will pass a huge room just after fighting the gatling gun hunter, with a beast impaled, an altar and a lot of robed beasts praying.

On the top of this huge room there is a body with a shining treasure on top of a wooden framework.

I tried to roll of the roof beams but I always fall on the framework below the one with the body.

I tried running on the beam and jumping on the last second but it didn't work.

My OCD won't let me progress until I get the treasure. It's the last one on the room, I got all the other ones.

Help?

nah. miyazaki didnt design the game with the intention that you can beat it with barehands lol. But he sure as hell made it perfectly beatable by solo. ;p

Lol you would pretty much have to back stab everything and rely heavily on Items

Arcane build for Barehanded run?

Maybe its doable but you would have to REALLY plan it out

Standing infront of Vicar Amelia ringing the bell to help people. Yet no answers, thought more ppl would need help with this boss :P

I just tried to get help and waited 5 minutes and nothing :/ Might be some server issues.

PS4 is off for now, will be back on later.

Dat
Blood Beast
, it seems like he just poisons me no matter what onces he reaches 25% of his health left just by approaching him, damn!

I killed Father G.
Which by the way was a great fight especially using the music box to stun him, fantastic detail.
I grabbed the broach and then went back to the girl who gave me the music box
and I gave it to her and....... that was it.
Should I have kept the item? Was it useful for anything else? I looked at it and it sounded like a upgrade thing at first but I wanted to complete the quest. Just wondering if anyone knows if it was better to hold onto it or if i did something wrong.
Not sure how much of what I'm talking about is a spoiler so I'm cutting out things.

I've heard people mention parrying is easier with the blunderbuss than the pistol, anyone who has played with both can confirm? I'm having a hard time parrying with the pistol and I'm wondering which one of the guns I should upgrade.

Question if I am right in Old Yharnam,
(I gave up to kill the NPC and went through this place with the burnig beast) I fought only Gasgoine and Cleric Beast.) Am I on track or did I muss something essential?

I know there's a door with these giant that I couldn't open.

Please no directions, just hints if possible :)
