One is creepier than the other, and consequently does more unsettling things. :>

I recommend
not sending NPC's to Iosefka's Clinic.

The fact she sounded really nice bit refused to open to door and show herself is more than enough of a red flag for me. I still don't know where the little girl went though. Sent her to the Chapel but she never arrived.

This is the first game in about fifteen years that has caused me to legitimately want to toss my controller at the screen. Having to fight three phantom type enemies at the same time with absolutely no way to split them up, because they all have super hearing or a batphone?
This isn't even a boss, it's a progression block in a normal level.

When you get in the zone, you get in the zone. Died to BSB three times before I entered a state of zen and wrecked him without getting poisoned or really damaged.

Straight Blood Creepin'.

Question if I am right in Old Yharnam,
(I gave up to kill the NPC and went through this place with the burnig beast) I fought only Gasgoine and Cleric Beast.) Am I on track or did I muss something essential?

I know there's a door with these giant that I couldn't open.

Please no directions, just hints if possible :)

quoting for new page :)

In my aimless meandering I went through a place I've dubbed Max Payne Woods. Afterwards I found a lamp in a really cool looking area that's probably far too high level for me so I got the hell out. Can't seem to teleport back there, though...what's up with that?

What's the difference between a skill build and a quality build?
Skill build means they focus on leveling skill and use weapons that have good skill scaling.

Quality build is a term from Souls games' community that means leveling both strength and skill somewhat equally to use weapons that use both to scale or have high requirements in both.

I killed Father G.
Which by the way was a great fight especially using the music box to stun him, fantastic detail.
I grabbed the broach and then went back to the girl who gave me the music box
and I gave it to her and....... that was it.
Should I have kept the item? Was it useful for anything else? I looked at it and it sounded like a upgrade thing at first but I wanted to complete the quest. Just wondering if anyone knows if it was better to hold onto it or if i did something wrong.
Not sure how much of what I'm talking about is a spoiler so I'm cutting out things.

Can someone answer this, was the better decision not to go back?

Guys can someone help me?

Before fighting the Blood Starved Beast on Old Yharnam, you will pass a huge room just after fighting the gatling gun hunter, with a beast impaled, an altar and a lot of robed beasts praying.

On the top of this huge room there is a body with a shining treasure on top of a wooden framework.

I tried to roll of the roof beams but I always fall on the framework below the one with the body.

I tried running on the beam and jumping on the last second but it didn't work.

My OCD won't let me progress until I get the treasure. It's the last one on the room, I got all the other ones.

Help?

Yeah, I have the same problem.
There are two items btw.
I can only get one item up there, but I can't get the other from the farther side.

The 1st beam is accessible by going outside and climbing up to the gatling gun guy.
But don't actually go all the way up. Look to your right, and there should be a ledge where you can jump off to get to access the roof part of that blood ritual place.
The problem is that you can only get a hold of one item that you saw...then your OCD will kick in where you realize there is another on the other side.
And that is where I am stuck too.

If you're stuck around the Cathedral area,
the merchants in the hunter's dream may be able to sell you something to help you progress.

And if you want an easy strategy for the machine gun NPC in Old Yarnham
, you can try my method: www.twitch.tv/cronzik/c/6403128 (then exit game and reload to loot).

What's the difference between sending
NPC's
to
Iosefka's Clinic
or the
Chapel with the creepy thing
?
Well, there's a cool spoiler that makes it apparent what the difference is:
you can see Iosefka's hand through a crack in the door's window, and it's empty at first. But when she asks for you to send refugees, you can see a weapon in her hand. Plus the shaky laugh, ha. On the other hand, the weird hag at the Chapel seems genuinely protective of the people you're directing to her.

Good morning Bloodborne GAF. I go to sleep and this thread moves a million posts.

That boss merits a co-op partner.

Question about stats.

Are you folks choosing Bloodtinge or Arcane or leveling them both up equally?

My current stats:
Vit: 15
End: 17
Strength: 12
Skill: 12
Bloodtinge: 8
Arcane: 9

Skill build means they focus on leveling skill and use weapons that have good skill scaling.

Quality build is a term from Souls games' community that means leveling both strength and skill somewhat equally to use weapons that use both to scale or have high requirements in both.

Ahh.. So then the best starting char for a skill build is "professional" and for a quality build "military veteran" right?

Huh? VIT, END is never wasted points but other than that you should focus on either STR or SKI, or distribute between them, everything else is a waste :P

There's also a way to get into the upper level of Iosefka's Clinic that makes the right decision pretty apparent

There are I think 4 different teleport headstones in Hunter's Dream. The woods area is on the 2nd one, called Frontier I believe.

Two annoying things about the two first bosses are the environment itself. One is a narrow corridor and the other has so much shit on the ground which fucks you over when you get stuck somewhere. I hope this isn't a recurring theme going forward.

I don't mind wiping on bosses for quite some time but it's more punishing in this game because you don't get your health potions back after each attempt. So on top of doing the run back to the boss, you also need to grind now and then to be able to afford new health potions. The long loading is an additional waste of time.

Oh well, onwards to the next boss after work.

All I know is that she dies trying to get to the Cathedral and I have no idea what happens at the clinic. I did hear that if you give her the Brooch she shows up again later in the game...... but thats just hearsay atm

Guys just heads up after you beat the dog face looking boss @_@ damn the game got a lot harder.... I'm loving the night setting though .... You can see thing better.... Lost 15k souls and when to the village place though smh....

Quick question...what is the game running at because it looks amazing. 1080p? 30fps? I haven't gotten the shotty fps that some have complained about or maybe I just don't notice it.

Spend those Echoes people and keep those Hunters Mark Papers handy for warping back home without losing the echoes.

There is no reason to BUILD UP echoes unless you are already farming in safe area to achieve a goal of buying something important

Otherwise USE THEM at every oppurtunity

The Hunter in the tower with the gun is crazy annoying, any tips?

Yeah,
Run up the ladder (press O) the entire time and then when you get to the top try sprinting at him immediately. You can kinda catch him off guard and with a few hits knock him off the tower...Worked for me.

Run and jump. You need to run along the wooden path, turn right and jump. It took me many tries but eventually did it.

Yes, and I recommend you try to get there. If you want hints on how to, read below:
Go to the cathedral, ride the elevator up past the shotgun guy, cross the bridge to the Healing Church Workshop, drop down right and walk into the area with the wooden platform as you described above.

Now once here, do not walk across the beam. Take a couple steps forward before the beam walkway starts to protrude from the platform, turn left, and walk off. You should land on a very tiny platform. From there, drop down onto the platform with the door. Here's an image of the path you should take (in blue), and red being the small platform below.

If you want to know what items are found in this area:
You get to see the "source of the dream", get a rare trophy, lots of cool items including the doll armor set.

Why would
she do that
?
She seems so nice at first...

Huh, thanks. Seems like you have to be pretty exact, no wonder I was having trouble.
