This is the one I'm currently on. I've only tried him once, though.
Rolling backwards away from the meteors seemed to work for me.
I went into the fight with a low amount of vials, though.

I like LHB, too, but I still find myself switching back to the axe occasionally.

I use Stake Driver. i love it

It's good but it uses 2 bullets per shot. It's more of a bloodtinge build weapon

Just keep using other stuff

do you still shoot 1 at a time? or is it like 2 bullets at the same time?
if every L2 shot is 1 bullet right after the other like how i imagine a repeating pistol is it could be pretty useful if you missed the parry timing

Anyone that can help me kill this freaking hunter at the Tomb of Oedon? I must avenge the fallen and I just keep getting killed by the bastard.

Have been having 2 separate problems with the online mode.

(1) Even though I press left on the d-pad, I'm not sure whether my "commends" for the notes left by other people are actually going through. do you get some kind of visual indicator for that?

(2) I keep trying to use the small resonant bell to help out others but it never finds anyone and eventually kicks me out of the game by saying I've been disconnected from the network.

Any hints on what I can do to fix it?

So I got to
a big church?
, and it looked like I could go left, forward or right. I went left and ended up in
Henwick
.

Working my way through here, but part of me wonders what I've missed (although I know I can go back). But at the same time, I'm trying to play it blind.

So, ignore this post.

End Game Spoiler
Is it just me or does
Germahn
sound like he's saying 'SWAGGER' everytime he attacks

The inability to view bloodstains is really a bummer.

For me they started working after a few hours of gameplay 100% of the time. Not sure what happened.

Surprised to see people having trouble with 2nd and 3rd bosses. 3rd boss in particular I thought was quite easy, and this is coming from someone who could never get cleric beast below 40% and had to summon help.
3rd boss can almost never hit you if you do 2 side steps around him every time he prepares an attack. You'll end up behind him and get 3-4 free hits. Repeat.

2nd boss,
if you're using threaded cane switch it to whip. Exactly to te bosses left when you start is a large group of gravestones. Lock onto the boss and pivot around the gravestones until they're separating you and the boss. He can't hit you but you can hit him. Just keep pivoting around as necessary to keep the graves separating. This should allow to get to his second form with 0 potions used.

Bought that lamp thingy for 2000 blood madgiggers. Its so much better in the dark now, woo! Just one more level up to strength to dual wield my sword/hammer thing I bought.

This game is amazing.

Not sure about your second question but when you rate a message 'fine' it's the left part of the touch screen. There's even a confirmation dialogue.

Is there anyway to avoid getting poisoned by the
Blood beast
when hes below 25%?
I want to do this shit solo and I could easily if it wasnt because I get insta-poisoned without him even touching me.

Just started today. I've got into that 'Rush-die' loop where I'm trying to get to father Abraham (or whoever) and because I'm rushing I keep dying stupidly on relatively simple enemies. And at that point the load times really hurt.

Can someone give me a tiny bit of guidance, as there are shortcuts all over and I don't know if I'm supposed to be going this way. Should I do the
hairy boss on the bridge with one big arm
first, or father Abraham? Both seem doable but also frustrating. Because you don't have a shield there is a lot more dodging and wheeling and it does feel confusing wih the camera all over the place. I was never a nimble player, but wasn't a tank either - I just liked my shield. So this is taking some getting used to.

Generally is the alternative form of your weapon for longer range/group attacks, but it deal less damage per hit?

I need to spend a lot more time trying to understand what the firearm is for. It barely seems to stagger enemies at all, I feel like I'm better off sticking with the right hand attacks entirely.

The left hand weapon is mainly for parry, not for doing too much damage unless you go for a Bloodstinge build.
If I were you I'd go for the Cleric Beast, the hairy boss, is closer and somehow easier than Father Gascoigne.
The shortcut is on the the middle of the bridge you need to go down the stairs and enter in the house, get out of there and open the door that leads to the lamp. then go back to the bridge and fight against the boss.

I got that, but the torch looks so much cooler so I've been using it anyways.

Stay behind it, there's little to no poison if you're behind it at all times.

I was having this problem Tuesday (though it was with the beckoning bell), didn't find any answers on how to fix it. But yesterday, it was working fine.

I don't there is a fix. It's on Sony/From's end.

Are the Gold Pendant and Tear Stone used for anything? Don't want to use them for a gem only to find out they're needed for some quest later.

Very good. Very good indeed.

Anyone defeat the seventh boss yet?
The spider one.
Really kicking my ass with those meteors, if it weren't for them it'd be grand.

I'm stuck there right now as well.

I ignore the little spiders and try to get as much damage in as possible then run away. Bolt also does seem to do extra damage. So far I have only gotten it down to 1/3 of it's health though. Something always fucks me up.

Is the best way to farm vials and bullets before the cleric beast just by killing that long road of basic enemies near the bonfire? Haven't really found a hugely effective way, had 20 vials before I tried to fight Father G and lost.
