I think the Crow Lady is bugged or I screwed up at some point.

I met her in the first area she appeared, talked to her until she gave me that item and that pose. But from what I've read she was then supposed to appear near cathedral ward which never happened and then after you beat VA she was supposed to appear at the location of the second boss fight where, according to what I read, you can help her fight some NPC hunter, but that did also never happen. Did this happen to anyone else? Is there a way to meet her in another location? I really want her armor set :(
I've got this issue as well. Just beat BSB. Help? =(

Guys I'm at wits end trying to beat the hunter inside Grand Cathedral...Lvl 57and he keeps 2 shotting me. I know I should probably come back later but I dont want to potentially miss the quest.

Ok.
So for that key, you have to grab that in the unseen village area. There is a location where you run up down a flight of stairs with the creatures shooting the exlosive lazers. If you turn around from that location and head to the right... I think there is another staircase, but if you look to the side there is a railing that's open. Jump down that way to get the key to the tower!

Damn, i don't want to go there again haha
i assume you mean the giant creature in some tower that literally shoots lazers

Man the boss at Old Yarnham was really easy. Kind of a letdown after the cool fight with
Father Cascoigne
.

But I'm really loving this game so far. So far I think I'm enjoying it more than Demons and Dark souls.

Blood-starved beast. I know... I know... haha

I found if you stay close to him (in front) and dodge forwards (while locked on) under his main attacking arm (it changes) then you always end up behind him for a few hits. Dodging back or sideways is unnecessary. When he goes into beast mode it still works but you just have to be a little bit careful of not getting caught by his flailing attack if you go the wrong side. Sometimes you need to dodge sideways here after you get behind. Also try to equip an armour with high poison resistence to buy more time in case you do get hit.

So, has anyone actually been able to summon today?

I've ran it 3 times with the Blood-Starve Beast, but the quickest summon Ive gotten is probably 5-10 minutes. The other 2 took 20, but I used up an insight, so didnt want to waste it but going and getting killed without help. (Not that its mattered so far).

I REALLY wish since the summons are limited compared to DS2, that you could see markings and bring someone in your game as opposed to it feeling like its random and whenever. Id love to wait for a second helper on this boss I cant beat, but I dont want the one guy who joins to leave because he may not want to wait around for another 20 minutes.

advice

Thanks, Ill give that a try later. Definitely need a break from it right now. Haha

Tried my first chalice dungeon, went down a couple of layers then I got rekt by a fuckin naked fatty rolling around with a wrecking ball.

FROM, don't you ever change!

new shit in the store :o

Ludwig Rifle, the flamethrower and the tomb prospector set
. And I cant afford any of it amg

Can't get enough of this game. The levels are huuuuge. I should finally tackle a boss today after exploring a bunch of new areas that became accessible after BSB.

Speaking of, my favorite moment in Bloodborne so far had to be when I beat BSB on my last attempt before I had to go to work for a night shift. What a weight off my shoulders; my hands were practically numb when I saw PREY SLAUGHTERED onscreen. The elation pushed me through my night shift lol

Ok, what's the strategy for F.G.?
His 2nd form where he turns into a beast is highly aggressive and I can't even get away fast enough to breathe. Then when he knocks me down, he combos me so I can even dodge.

I used the terrain on this one. The gravestones will buy you some time to heal if you put them between you and him. But the tree is the real winner when facing him post-transformation. If you lock onto him and keep the tree between you, then you stand a much better chance and will only have to dodge the last few attacks of his longer combos before you have an opening (however small) to attack.
I managed to take him out on my first try.

Where do you get it?! I must know!

I can't remember the name but it's the place
where you get taken when you first get killed by one of those bag carrying fellas. When you get the first lamp there, exit the first room, go left, kill the pig then keep going in that direction. You'll find it.

I feel like people who have completed the game already must have missed a lot of stuff. I'm at close to 15-20 hours so far and I have fought three bosses, found two more I can fight and am only level 27. Of course I'm helping others with co-op and backtracking a lot to see the lore and do side quests. I haven't even touched the Chalice Dungeon yet, and I still feel like there is stuff I've clearly missed.

Turret
guy is an asshole. He annoyed the shit out of me anytime I was in an open area and, when I finally got to him, the fight wasn't even cool. Fuck that guy.

%110 same here. I destroy everything possible and go into every corner I can possibly fit into. I still feel like I am missing a ton. Just got to Old Yharnam lantern. 2 bosses. 14 hours.

I
waited for him to jump at me and shot him to stun him then hit, did that twice and went down

Yea, very easy to dodge. Didn't know what to expect since some guys here had trouble with her,

Apparently that boss can heal, but that can be easily interrupted. Maybe some people backed off to use a blood vial and the boss healed up at the same time. I never saw the boss do this on my run.

So not sure how the chalice dungeons work exactly. Like I know you place the chalices, but there are different ones with different categories which I'm guessing is what sort of level backdrop you get. I did two that were completely different but now I don't have enough of the bigger blood offerings to make this new one, nor do I have many other new ones. Where are we suppsoed to find or buy all these different chalices?

This game should keep stats.

Time playing the game
Time looking at loading screens
Time spent going up and down ladders
Bullets accidentally fired after putting the controller down
Number of times you died to an invisible pop in enemy
Insight wasted on summons that never came
Number of pig colonoscopies

I saw some glow effect, didn't know what that was, I just kept attacking. So that's what it was doing.

Blood-starved beast. I know... I know... haha

The threads have built it up so much that BSB became horrifying before I even go to it lol. Fought it a few times and died very quickly.

After that, what I did was help out other players as a summon, which let me sort of experiment and get ultra familiar with its attack set without significant losses aside from using vials. Eventually it took much of the initial fear out of the equation and I became much more focused and beat it solo after maybe 3 attempts.

From the title screen, choose "Load" and your save file will show the time spent playing.

Do chalice dungeons scale with NG+ etc?

Just had real WTF moment with the boss in cainhurst caslte.
His AI glitches out and he only did his physical attack, no magic. So I was able to parry him to death pretty easy.

No complaining!

Also the number of times I fucking jump scaring myself from that.

And a bunch of enemies along the way I take it?

If insight actually does change the difficulty in the game it's yet another thing about Bloodborne that I dislike. I think it's a very cool idea, but it leads to a very uneven experience (and encourages dumping insight for offline players). When playing through Dark Souls for the first time, every enemy was just as difficult for me as it was for everyone else. Every time I started a new character I knew what to expect. I just prefer that consistency.

Don't you need insight to achieve certain things as well though? I haven't seen enemies get harder, just have new enemies pop up in addition. They have good drops too.

So you don't like the fact that the game can be unpredictable? That's a huge positive in my eyes. Adds to the replayability.

Man, this sucks. I haven't been able to sit down and play the game since Tuesday. I played until I beat cleric beast and stopped and haven't played since. I just can't find the time between work and taking care of my infant son (who won't stay still and content for more than 20min or so).

Parent life.
