A couple questions for things to do in the Cathedral Ward after beating the boss. Asked earlier but this thread is moving too fast.

Should I go ahead and use Amelia's Pendent or save it for another something else later on?

The raven coated hunter from the sewers, (Eileen?), is now at the cathedral and is telling me not to go to the tomb under Oedon. I should go there, right?

Made it to the cathedral area. I got the lever and stuff that opens up the tomb stair place, went down but then it started to get too dark and i got scared so I ran back :P Wanted to use my souls.

"7 hours left"...

God damnit, why did I have to beat the game. There was still so much I needed to figure out.

Not sure if I want to start a new character or continue NG+.

How do you go past the 20 limit on vials and bullets?

Just beat
ROM

What's up with the sudden nosedive in boss quality there? All the others I genuinely enjoyed fighting even if I was losing. Learning attack patterns and "gitting gud." But this was just a POS. Basically:

1) rush in and attack
2) hope no spiders land on you and if they do...
3) roll away from the group
4) spam blood vials for when the inevitable barrage of blue things take 90% of your health
5) pray and repeat

Please tell me this is the worst boss. Not fun at all.

Can someone remind me where A
lbert went?
Found him with my first character
and gave him the summons so he could kill the Queen
but forgot where.

I summoned a coop player to help me with some
hunters in cathedral I was having issues with....

As soon as I did, a friendly player showed up but I also had a message that said a bell maiden had spawned somewhere.... shit... So now I'm susceptible to an invasion? I'm terrified of that... Lol!

Is she always there until I kill her? Even if I close the game or go back to hunters dream? How can I find her? The area map is huge it could take me forever to find her :(

There are far worse in the Chalice dungeons, especially if you happen to get
Rom
in a teeny tiny room. You can't avoid his later attacks very effectively at all.

A lot of the later ones devolve into:
1. Rush in
2. Hit once or twice
3. Roll a couple times away
4. Wait for opening
5. Repeat

It's not super hard, but it's not very fun either.

1. use
2.
When you can no longer teleport to oedon tomb, go there from the chapel and help her.

Have you done defiling ones?

He'll be in
Castle Cainhurst at the throne room where the Queen is. After meeting him there he'll be by the Tomb with the entrance down to Old Yharnem where you met him for the very first time.

Down the stairs from the boss room, take the first left.

Caryll runes.

There are 4 Runes for each that give you +1/2/3/4. So the most +Vials or +Bullets you could have at one time would be 9 using the 2/3/4 runes. Or split to +4 Bullets / + 7 Vials or visa versa.

Oh, thanks. Well I still have to beat BSB so I have no idea what you guys are talking about :P

Really!? Time to start leaving notes then. This game is full of surprises.
Also, where do I got after beating the
witches
?

You have several options,

You can go to:

The Forbidden Woods, fight the boss there and unlock shortcuts along the way
Cainhurst
Lecture Hall and Nightmare Frontier after getting the tonsil stone from any window NPC, the one that gave it to me was Gilbert, the NPC closest to the Central Yharnam lantern. To get there, go left when exiting the Grand Cathedral where the Vicar fight took place.

Actually, I don't even know what you've done thus far. lol.

So my first try at
Rom
almost resulted in a complete victory until I was suddenly and unceremoniously one-hitted. Now I can't kill the damn thing at all, not even a little bit. Tried ringing the Bell but I get nothing. If I go to offline will ringing send me an NPC?

These little snakes. FUCK THESE SNAKES.

No one likes that fight because its almost impossible to get a summon there IMO. My strategy was pretty easy:
Two hand your wep, ignore adds, run to his ass, R2 charge, run away, repeat, dodge meteors, win.

Its nice that you can share dungeon codes so its possible to get later game weapons early enough so you can go with whatever build you fancy

Have you done defiling ones?

I started one, and it boils down to the same thing -- only that's the strategy for some normal enemies as well. Hit once or twice, roll away, wait for opening, etc. Not very fun. The Defiled dungeon mechanic is actually really, really poorly designed from a "fun user experience" point-of-view.
