Would've liked a september release date. Lets hope the community doesn't crash and burn , when COD and Battlefront hit a few weeks later..I enjoyed the beta, but Im mostly excited for the story. Ill always have chiefs back, fuck everybody else..

Yeah, I had a tough time replaying it, as well. It has its moments, but bogs down in spots with throwing waves of enemies at you. Plus during the riding the vehicle sequence I kept having the world not load in at a certain point because of scripting problems, it took EIGHT tries to finally get it to script right, I hated that level by the end.

But yeah, I'm hoping they took things to heart and created something bigger for 5.

We'll probably get some retcon about Guardians and a backstory on how it ties into Halo (multiplayer).

Well... we have played Halo 5 already and in my experience it was fine. I don't think I noticed any problems that I would consider cause for concern 10 months later.

I do of course understand the concern but... from what we've had already it seemed to work to me.

True, but given Halo 5's beta and the fact that a bunch of stuff was outsourced for the MCC, I'm less worried. I have a feeling it's pretty high on 343's list to launch this shit well; imagine the shitshow that would ensue if otherwise.

Yea, this is a pretty big step down from the quality of Halo 3/Reach/ODST live action stuff. And by big step down, I mean massive. The Locke ad was straight up cringe. The MC one somewhat less so.

Looks like the ODST live action stuff won't be getting beat anytime soon.

It likely is...at least a lot of people, and insiders have been hinting at it.

The only thing they specifically denied was a Marcus Fenix collection...
They said they have other projects in the works and would share more in the future..

I understand the MCC complaints but this has been 343i baby for a long time whereas development for MCC was a clusterfuck.

I'm not concerned about multiplayer, I know I'll be playing. But hope they can knock it out of the park with single player.

I loved the Beta. It had the level design of map control Halo in known for with more speed and better movement options. Loved it. I went beast mode on the sword many times. Will do it again LOL.

As for Halo 4 single player, it had some good things and some bad. I liked Reach better. I really cant describe why i feel the first 5 levels of Halo CE were the best in the series. I think it was choice in certain cases. Maybe it was the wave of covis and their armory and the design of the level as you progressed. AOTCR is still my favorite Halo level of all time.

Long rant, but anyway, i am stoked for this and cant wait.

Agreed. No need to rush it; They already have a solid line-up. Multiplats and exclusives on Xbox One + Exclusives on Wii U. Going to be a good year for me either way.

All 4 are on the same engine, same models, same console and were worked on with MS. I'm sure, as long as 343 doesn't touch it, can handle porting it to x1. I mean Gears 1 was basically a PC game put on 360, and the x1 is a low end PC.

I'd love to see 1+2+3 maps with dedicated servers tho.

Seriously its a great little console, yes it has flaws as does EVERYTHING but regardless i find myself rooting for the underdog!
I have this feeling that Halo 5 will be the first xbox one game which will truly show us how powerful the x1 is!

I swear i spend more time gaming and using the media capabilities of my x1 the most vs my wiiu, ps4 and pc.
Even now its a complete different console to what was launched and being in the preview program makes me realise that this console will be so much better over time, as am sure the ps4 will too.
I think these consoles, the PS4,X1 WiiU are seriously underrated and being underestimated!

With time i think we will see these consoles shine and give us some real gems.

All i can say is with zelda wii u delayed, and uncharted 4 delayed Halo 5 is going to be my big fall game.

Not criticizing/attacking you but a statement like that seemed a bit trollish/inaccurate? Certainly some great titles on the console that are not multiplatform - my apologies if you feel that way.

I think QB was already delayed till next year? Or at least it was rumored to be.

I have to say that I don't understand the complaints about the UI on MCC, I think it's fantastic for combining that many games and game modes.

Also the netcode in the Halo 5 beta did not have the same issues.
