I handily beat the game with the cane whip and it's been great in PVP so far. It's one of the most versatile weapons in the game imo. Whip function is incredibly useful In many circumstances.

the greatest blood echo farming area mid-game or what? I leveled from 30 - 64 by farming this area alone and I'm still getting enough echoes for a level per clear.(theres about 26k worth of blood echoes in

) I feel like I'll be able to get a level per clear till about lvl 70.

Chalice dungeons are probably the best places to farm echoes lol. I don't know what to do with mine since I want to keep at a certain level for PVP purposes. I guess I can just dump them into consumables.

Nope, no choir key in my inventory just Oedon Tomb key, Lunarium Key and Lecture Theatre Key.

Upper ward key should be in Yahargul Unseen village. In the courtyard area before the big laser shooting spider thing with all the hags, there should be a broken railing area you can drop down on. Then you enter a doorway and drop down inside the cage. If you remember its the big cage where there's a Gatling wheelchair enemy and fat brick enemy outside it. The key opens the door at the top of the workshop tower

It does open up later, but there's a boss there you can fight know. Go to the second floor and explore.

made good use of the columns. His attacks seem to be biased to the right so I'd try to keep a column between me and his right side. Then, patience. Get a few licks in and retreat. Got him on the third try.

Bloodborne platinum get. Got stuck in the defiled dungeons and had to do extra runs due to not save scumming properly, but yeah, took me a good 51 hours. Original playthrough I did everything and that was in like 24 hours.

Sigh, trying to join a friend in co op chalice dungeon and it isn't working. Just been searching for 10 minutes. Bot set up a network password also. This is aggravating.

First are you within 10+10% levels of eachother, if you are try a few things.

1. If your playstation was in rest mode prior to trying coop do a full shutdown and restart. It's a known issue. Power down between BB play sessions.

2. Try traveling back the hunters dream sometimes it just gets hung up. Travel back and try again.

I'm not sure if they scale on NG+ but if they don't I recommend just making a new character for chalice dungeons. If you're at then of the game you'll be insanely overpowered for all the early/mid game dungeons the game makes you do before they let you tackle the challenging stuff.

I don't understand why people would farm blood echoes in the main game, doing the same section again and again just for echoes where the chalice dungeons are full of new content and will fill your echoes just as much, with other bonus drops.

Saw Cleaver! I'll use a blood cocktail, get behind him and do a charged R2 attack, and then I heard the sound cue to do a visceral attack but it just proceeds to do a normal attack. super frustrating considering those cocktails are worth 2000 a pop

Anyone else noticing a pattern in Bloodborne for invisible walls in chalice dungeons? It seems it's only certain wall types. Ones with vines, skulls or other adornments never seem to be the ones. Only flat stone walls or square archway ones.

Hypogaen Gaol is quite the difficulty spike. Is there no way to stun the big sack-dudes?

I cant stun them on their arm hit 90% of the time
50% on their kick

Are you perhaps just a step out of range? I've had that issue before (not with this boss, though). I always hold up on the stick to keep moving forward and then press R1.

Cane jump attack stuns them. That being said you;re not meant to fight them right now, you;re supposed to fight everything else while avoiding them.

None that I know of.

They are easy to parry. It's just the timing is later than normal because their hand swipe attack comes out slow.

that i can buy is the "Hunter Chief Emblem", and that only opens the big gate, as far as i know. The small/normal door in the basement is still locked.

Suspend/Resume has been rumored to cause issues with summoning and other aspects of online play with Bloodborne. A lot of people have trouble viewing gravestones after resuming.

I've never used it and have those issues.

People have positioned the camera to see the other side of the door and it just leads to level geometry that doesn't connect at all. It could possibly be a connecting point for more DLC. But to me it just looks like they planned on connecting it to the great bridge where you fight the Cleric Beast, but then decided to scrap the idea.
