You missed getting the weapon that the badge the boss drops lets you buy for free, and you may have missed an armor set + a bunch of twin blood stone shards.

Anyone have any tips for the Defiled Chalice? I'm level 105 with 50 vit, 40 end and 50 str, using a +10 axe. I also have the +10% health rune but the first boss is punishing almost any mistake I make with instant death. Should I be an even higher level for additional defense? Shit's tough.
I started playing on a DS4, and got past the first boss while dying a bunch, and then switched to remote play and blew through the next 2 bosses like tissue paper.
Loving this so far.
Looks great, plays great, best remote play I've come across yet.
My only issue is that I would have preferred a block, I'm not using weapon switch, power attack, or my pistol at all.

at the Cathedral. I never started the sidequest so this was the only way to get the badge at this point. Man was she tough. All I can say is Toora Loora Yeah!

Waaay better if you do a strength and skill build. I have 22 strength,22 skill, fortified plus 8. With charged r2 i can do upwards of 1200 damage

I killed Iosefka who clearly took some Old one tentacle penis and is now pregnant with a horrible abomination, ate the one she gave me. I also found that poor hooker partially turned to a beast and on an operating table.

From what I gather, it seems it doesn't quite matter if you transfuse the blood, everyone becomes a beast or some other horror someway and then the Old Ones come down and do a bunch of horrible shit and destroy everything before returning to whatever dimension they came from and doing it all over again somewhere else. Lovecraftian at its finest.
The chalice that talks about a the city in the sands reduced to nothing pretty much implied that.

It was my favorite weapon during my NG playthrough, but I think a lot of the weapons including the axe are totally viable.

By the time I finished NG, I was Lv90 and my right hand attack stat with the
L Holy Blade

I don't use my gun a whole lot as I usually use two-handers or prefer the visibility of a torch, but you're absolutely missing out if you're not transforming your weapons.
God damn. If I still had stuff to kill, I'd grab that, because with that+arcane buff and a few levels, I might be able to throw my sword into the high 800s.

I didnt, which is why I had to do another run >.>Either from a chest or an enemy drop inside my depth 5 chalice dungeon. The STR one dropped from the final boss inside.
