Anyone got a Youtube link for the exact path you take to get to the V-boss without buying the key?

I used it too on my level 60 Nightmare Frontier killing spree, but it's rather boring with the time. The health drain also sucks and the dmg output is cool and fast, but somehow I feel that this weapon doesn't belong here somehow. D:

I also got the weapon with level 40 just to kill people easier in the early levels. :o

I only use health drain mode for one or two slashes within a combo before switching back. And yeah, the weapon itself feels kind of out of place in this game.

So, Eileen the f*cking Crow
won't move from her starting position, still on those goddamn rafters. Should I just kill her?
I believe she doesn't move until you have
opened the door requiring the emblem in cathedral ward and cleared out most of the following area, but not before fighting VA

I haven't even met Eileen yet and I've beaten the B
lood-starved Beast
. Where are the exact locations she can be? I've heard the "rafters", but where are they?

So what is the most blood echoes everyone has lost?

I have been playing pretty carefully so the most I have lost was about 38k in the forest. Just defeated R
om
so there is a point of reference.

iirc, in the area
after the dogs in cages in Central Yharnam

I do wonder if my "build" if you even wanna call it that, is holding me back. I just kinda put most of the points in stamina and vitality and a point or two in strength/skill to use different weapons and the other stat that allows you to use different guns.

Hopefully not but it would be nice to do more damage.

Can Eileen be aggroed during the fight
against the hunter where Father G was
? Just curious; didn't happen to me, and I've been flailing Ludwig's like a madman.

Also I killed I
osefka
and had no idea about this
orange moon
thing. Sucks :-|

Upgrading weapons does more for damage than stats i think.

Ok just saw a gif of someone deflecting a bullet with his sword in pvp
lfuoBNt.gif

My head right now

She moves after you kill one of the bosses. I missed her also, not sure if there is a chance to see her again or not.

I went too far into the game to continue her quest so I missed all the events after it but I did meet her in her very first spot by chance while exploring. almost attacked her but I walked up and there was a Talk prompt.

turns out once you beat
Rom, she's hostile so I had to fight her and I got her badge that way to buy her gear.

Don't go to old yarnham. Buy the cathedral gate key from the dream first, then go to
blood healing church, also you must have defeated darkbeast paarl
from there. You will find the outfit of this place and if you go to old yarhnam wearing it, you wont be attacked by this guy

Argh, I summoned someone and he found the guy and killed him for me. Thanks a lot duder.

I just beat
the Witch of Hemwick
last night and I had nightmares. That whole boss area is just unsettling. I thought the game would be more of the same until that area and I really liked it.

Question for old school Demon's/Dark Souls people playing this: any bosses that are just as bad as the
Bed of Chaos, Ruin Sentinels or the Four Kings?

I think I'm at the end. Is there a checklist of things I should do before heading into NG+? I think I've been everywhere and killed all the bosses although I'm not 100%. Haven't touched chalice dungeons at all which I'm guessing I should do before I progress?

If I want the plat how should I go about it?

Ah, I beat C
leric Beast
before even getting there so that would explain it. Are my chances ruined now, then?

*shudders at the mention of Four Kings*

can chalice dungeons drop any rune, or only specific ones? I'm still pissed at losing out on two good runes from NPC-related stuff but I guess on a first playthrough you can't expect much. But if I can just input a code, run in and grab a specific rune anytime then that's fine.

On that subject what happens if you get multiple identical runes? I don't mean of the same type, but if you managed to get two +10% stamina runes (from NG+, or whatever) can you only equip one?

So everyone can agree frenzy was a terrible, godawful idea right?

the idea is cool. Basically losing sanity points for staring at shit you shouldn't. In practice it's just 'why am I suddenly dying?' or turn a corner and eyeball thing instagibs you.

I'm heading back in there with 500 frenzy res though.

what's the best way to generate frenzy resistance? Rune?

Forbidden Woods boss
Unlocked the 2nd shortcut and gave those 3 dudes another shot. I killed 2 of them, with the last being the guy who summons the giant snakes when he is low health. I had him down to about 25% health, then I got too greedy and kept attacking when I should have backed off and healed...Died. Ugh. Went back for a 3rd go and did worse--probably too frustrated.

It feels like an easy boss fight. I'm sure I will beat it tomorrow...

I will got home and continue in your steps, Guru. Pass the blood.
They will fall today. One way or another.

What is the best place to farm for blood vials? I''m having real trouble running out all of the time.

a) if you know a good place to farm for blood echoes, just do that instead and buy vials.
b) I'm not too deep into the game, so maybe there are better places, but you can get to 20&20 pretty quickly (20-30 minutes maybe?) by clearing the starting area (the street and bridge up to CB) a time or two.

hardest fight in the game bro. Even by the end game. So this early, lol, good luck haha

Really? The
other hunter by the tomb killed her up in, like, 10 seconds
, with my help. I was fucking pissed she was that weak.
That dude, otherwise, kills me with three gunshots, and he shoots like a madman.

Ah, I beat C
leric Beast

don't think so. look up a guide on her exact spot to check. I think if you missed her first spot I read
she's outside the Cathedral.
but I forget the exact place.

Eileen isn't hard to kill, I beat her after I beat the third boss, Oil Urn, Molatov and Fire paper. Easy.

I used poison knives. it was pretty effective, hehe

So my new build focus on Skill and Bloodtinge (in order to get full potential of
Chikage
), should i get some point to Arcane too (because other Skill weapons like
Blade of Mercry, Scythe
have great scalling on Arcane)

So I just beat the game and am a bit disappointed...just a word of caution to everyone; make sure you do whatever you want to do before you fight the final boss! (you'll know when it is), because the game immediately throws you into NG+ once you beat them. Lost my chance to go back, explore and kill bosses I missed :(

How does one make a heavy long ranged weapon of the cane? It only becomes a whip if I transform it and I hate that whip.

Finished the game a couple of days ago and just got back to NG+ today. Decided it was time to start reading spoilers and damn did I miss a lot of stuff. :P Still had a hell of a time with it, going to try and do everything on my NG+ run (except chalice dungeons, not that fun for me).

Not finding NG+ as difficult as I was expecting. Sure everything is a bit spongy now, but I was able to kill
the Cleric Beast
and
Father Gascoigne
on my first attempt, was expecting a lot of trouble out of them given how tough they were the first go 'round. Glad the blood echoes increased substantially, ended my last game at level 69 and have already been able to get 10 more levels.

The hunchback/troll guys in Central Yharnam always give BVs.

- Spawn at Central Yharnam
- take the shortcut to the left through the gate
- kill the torch-holding peasant fool
- proceed down the steps and left
- kill the two hunchbacks for blood vials
- go back and upstairs through the house to the bridge
- kill the hunchback at the end of the bridge just before
Cleric Beast
- profit

You can also do this, perhaps quicker, by starting at the Oedon Tomb spawn and going backwards over the bridge. Get the hunchback, possibly a BV from the guys knocked down by the bowling ball, then go up via the elevator to the two hunchbacks again

I have so, so many blood vials just due to crossing these areas repeatedly (doing FG, Werewolves, and sewer runs)
