Man, I haven't played this game in a long time. I forgot how amazing it looks in motion. Still one of the best looking new gen games easily.

Normally I'd post something that pretty much no one else does, but I did at least take gameplay shots instead of photomode ones! ...though I did also take some photomode shots.

The art direction in Bloodborne is stellar. Can't think of games that can reach it's level.

It is, but the CA tends to bother my eyes quite a bit.

I usually take hundreds of screens during my gameplay though. And i try to get some good angles. So hopefully more to come eventually.

Also, i miss the old binoculars. Not having real first person view tends to affect my screenshots

Man, I want to cave on Bloodborne so bad. But with moving into a new house soon and another baby due in a month, a couple hundred hour obsession is the last thing I need.
Anyway, fantastic shots in here lately.

Sticking to quick pick up and play games-

Love the artwork and designs in Bloodborne.

Ugh, everything looks great except for the reflections in any wet I:SS shot. I've mentioned this since it came out before, but the reflections range from slightly offset to hooooorribly offset.

This shot is an example of them being way off. That lit up support/sign 30 yards up on his right is literally being reflected 12 feet to his right, just beside him. Makes no sense. It's similar to reflections in some beautiful Unity shots. They're either way off or make no sense.

Ever since I noticed it in both those games, I can't unsee it.

Thanks Nib! Still nowhere near the calibur of shots you take, that's for sure. Love the in car views during the replays.

And a cockpit shot, trying to grind the Spano level up.

Not really taken a shot of this angle yet, but it's a pretty cool angle that shows off a good mix of the driver, cockpit and track a little more than usual.

On a side note, as the last shot shows, Driveclub's CA application is more wisely used. It affects the lens flare edges accurately, whilst not diminishing the overall image itself.

Great shots James. These aren't photomode right? Is it me or did the AA get better in this game?

Another CA example in some DC foliage

Thanks benzy. First two, no, replay shots. Last one, yes, photomode.

Oh man, imagine an RPG with this engine/these visuals.

*Bites fist*
Seriously, an ES game like this? My marriage would not survive.

Goddamn, is this real life or Driveclub? I seriously can't tell.
The environments are just stunning. I'm still taken aback that we've reached this level of graphics in games.
So many great looking games now.

Last set for now.

I think if you told me that was a real life photo of the location, I would have believed you. Hell, I was wondering if it was really from Driveclub. Simply incredible. People who aren't blown away must have impossibly high standards.

That's the downside of using cube maps. Second Son also uses screen-space reflections, but they're much more selective/restricted than something like Driveclub or Killzone, presumably for performance reasons.

I was surprised at how good this random bird looked, and its eyeballs actually moved too.

At least I think that last shot is gameplay...I honestly can't remember, but I do spot a few jaggies, so it must be.

Sorry but outside of the water and the clouds nothing in that shot looks special to me. The ground before the water has a low res texture and there's no natural transition between those rocks. The hill behind the water and to the left looks better but that's probably because it's farther away.

Driveclub looks awesome in screenshots, no denying that. Unfortunately it is one of those games that look a whole lot worse while playing.

Wait, what?! It looks way BETTER while playing it! The FXAA in play while in motion mitigates a lot of the IQ issues that you see in screenshots.

You can now also get your screenshots from xboxdvr.com. :)

I just checked that out, and it even shows screenshots that the Xbox One wouldn't let me "share"! It's also a real time saver since I don't have to share individual shots (which is really annoying to do), and I can just get them from there. Sweeeeet!!!

Here's some shots from the NHL 15 demo, which the Xbox One wouldn't let me share...but now I can finally post them thanks to that site. I'm also gonna post some Final Fantasy XV shots later...I gotta take some first. I took one of the title screen to see if I could share it, but I couldn't, so I didn't take any more.
