If your fighting her with lock on, you can't use the strategy of sticking to her like glue.
If you want to use lock on you need to wait for chances to hit her head and keep some distance from her.
Fighting her with lock on is a death sentence, I'm free targeting. I have no problem dodging the attacks except the
lasers
, because I can't even tell when it's about to cast because the camera is usually going nuts.

I will be victorious tonight come hell or high water.

I've not seen Eileen the Crow at the 1st area she appears. Now, after killing
Vilcar
I went there and she is not there... have I missed the opportuinity to get her set?
Ok, nevermind, I found her near the cathedral ward... thing is... I just attack her or should I do something else?

Does playing this game make anyone else want a PS4 version of Dark Souls with the same graphical quality? You'd never have to buy another game again between that and Bloodborne.

Yes that's correct. For your level, you should ignore that particular Root unless you lack the materials for the next proper Chalice.

and since im so overlvled for this one, I can now remove the chalice so I have the spot correct?

(not that I need the spot right away but still)

Seriously getting a little frustrated now, have waited 45 minutes searching for someone to join connect against the
Micolash
fight. Used 11 insight trying to connect to people today without any luck.

Only one playthrough, if you backup your save before
Gehrman you can get all endings, just quit and copy the save over the existing one. Do it in this order submit, refuse, refuse prior to consuming 3 cords. This way you can continue NG+ with Gehrman's badge.

As for the elevator glitch don't co-op there, that's how mine got fucked.
I've only been playing offline. Hopefully this means I won't encounter this glitch.

The maidens respawn.
Ah, OK.

Wait what? That's literally the easiest fight in the game. Have you tried it yet?

Yea you can remove it.

Only Chalices worth keeping on Tombs are Root ones where you got some INSANE drop (like a weapon, rune, blood rock or a high level gem) that you want to share with other people.

Some of the later areas in Dark Souls felt a bit half-baked and incomplete, which is another thing they could correct in a remake.

Edit: Maybe you meant joining to help? I'm guessing it's because nobody actually wants help because it's so easy.

I have tried for 6 hours, i have beat everyone at first or sexond try but i can't dodge the
missile

They didn't just feel incomplete, they WERE incomplete. It's been said by From that Lost Izalith and New Londo Ruins were cut short due to time constraints.

I killed V
icar
A
melia
but for some reason I can't send
Arianna
to a safe place yet. Any ideas?

Make sure you touch the altar. You can either reload your game, or warp to the Hunter's Dream and back to the world to refresh the NPCs. Should do the trick.

Oh, that's interesting. New Londo Ruins was fine, imo. I was thinking more along the lines of Lost Izalith, which I still find interesting, but a bit sparse and linear.

Oh my goddddddd, this fucking fight with Eb
rietas
is going to make me break my controller.

Super tough fight, and the only fight since the Cl
eric
B
east
that I have battled the camera so much and died because of it.

I can consistently get her down to about 1/8th of health, and then I die because I can't get away from her because I'm stuck in her or stuck on some geometry. Or I'm so close and the camera is bouncing all over the place that I can't see that she's casting her ranged magic one hit kill attack. It's really getting annoying. And then I run out of vials or bolt paper and have to go farm. AHHHHHHHH

After you get her down to doing my her
magic phase, cheese her by going range with the canon gun and Molotov Cocktails. That why you can see her magic and easy dodge them.

New Londo was good, but there's some stuff near the Firelink Entrance that never gets explored when you drain the place. But yea, Lost Izalith is incredibly short.

Fucking love this game. I think even more than Dark Souls.

Yeah, it's my favorite one in the series so far. Speeding up combat was a good move. I think my favorite new trick is to dash toward most enemies when they're about to attack. Your dash carries you so far that you end up directly behind the bad guy and they have to turn around before they can reengage you, giving you time to go all wood chipper on their spines. Probably an elementary trick for this game, but so satisfying.

I beat the
Hintertomb
chalice and got a
Lower Hintertomb Chalice. Did I miss a central one or does it not exist?

Weirdly enough New londo was still a pretty good area.

I really hated the first part. Both that and
Cainhurst
I don't like as much as other people seem to because of the ghosts. Like I don't know if they infinitely respawn, but they certainly seem to, and I don't have any motivation to beat them all because of it. So then I just run through the area and it's kind of a mix of boring and frustrating rather than rewarding.

I guess that's partly my fault, but still.

I see the area that takes you to the
3 hunters
, but dont see where an elevator is?

You're gonna have to beat or run past them. The exit on the other side of the big room (with the cage floor) is where you're going to want to turn left. Then go up into the area near the sniper, it's around there. Might take a few tries.

The ghosts in neither area respawn at all(Unless you reload). And personally I thought the ghosts in both areas were the best part, though the Dark Wraiths were fun enemies.

Yeah I think that one goes straight to Lower. The first Chalice has way more Dungeon types than the other ones mostly because it has the lower level ones to start off.

Some more noob-ish questions, since I'm trying not to use a Wiki.

-Beast pellets. Yay? Nay? Do you recommend their usage? If so, when?
-The Brooch and
Amelia's
pendant. Do I just use them or save them for later?

Yes, absolutely add a revamped PVP system as well.

I really hope From continues with the formula. Maybe not Bloodborne 2, but the same style in another creepy setting.
