Gets to third level in first Lower Chalice Dungeon.
Low on Vials so heads to favorite farming spot.
Cutscene, what the hell? What is that? Oh, yeah! I forgot about this.
New area.
This area is pretty. Why are there so many bloodstains? Is this a PvP hotspot?
What's that thing? Pretty tough. I can do this.
More of them? What? Oh, that explains the bloodstains.

Got my skill to 40 and was all ready to start pumping Arcane then two consecutive Bloodtinge boner weapons dropped. (weapons)
Rapier and Evelyn
Now I'm torn again.

I have a feeling that once they realized what the witches were doing, they destroyed their own bridge to cut all ties and wall themselves off. Kind of like Gilneas in Warcraft.

Ran into a lot of those and I'm still on my first playthrough. Insight was around 30 and it was pitch black outside

lower pthumerian layer 2, got the
undead giant
again, had a ton of a health compared to bosses so far, and did a ton of dmg

I cant even imagine the other chalices :(
 
I'm stuck, don't know where to go next. Can anyone help me out? Here are the bosses I've beaten so far:

Cleric Beast
Father Gascione
Witches
Blood-Soaked Beast
Tower Sniper

I've got 30 Insight, and I just keep wandering around aimlessly. Help!

last one is not a boss. Go cathedral ward lamp and go up the stair to the top. ( cathedral). There is a boss.
 
Should I work on the first Chalice Dungeon as soon as I get it? I beat the first floor/boss, and opened the door to the second boss. But I'd rather push on and fight V

Yeah, from what I've seen enemies (dunno if all types) can "pick up" your blood echoes i.e. you have to kill them to regain it. Guess it's a way to make it more punishing to reclaim BEs since had a chance to be moving about with an enemy as opposed to a static position.
 
mixing and matching sets for looks, the real Dark SoulsBloodborne starts here.

Crow set head and chest with bone ash pants, so fucking good (because the bone ash pants are all raggedy like the crow set is). Gloves can be whatever, im using bone ash because I like the chainmail-y look

Perhaps. I haven't finished the game - I have the final boss and to finish four Chalice Dungeons - but I wish there was some explanation on what really caused all of this to happen. Demon's Souls was incredibly clear on what was happening in the game world, Dark Souls got a little more cryptic as you were being fed lies regarding a solution, and Bloodborne seems to follow the latter. I have seen nothing in the game about Pureblood being in Yharnam, or even really being a thing. There's enough evidence to infer a kind of trick being played on you.

My guess is the Choir made contact with some creatures, which later led to the whole city being taken over, and the women being used as surrogates to birth more creatures. The Choir seems to have been put in a place between time and space, which makes me think they were the first contact for all of this; their location is absent of physically traversing there, even by way of floating horse. :P

You'll get him every time too, because the dungeons aren't random. Only the root chalice dungeons are random. And wait until layer 3 of that dungeon :) You're in for a treat.

Down the stairs, in to te lift. Roll off half way on to the roof, avoid the dogs and in to te room on the right. Inspect the bath, appear in new tower, kill bell maiden and slide down the ladder. Voila. Minimal fighting and takes about 30-40 seconds. Worst boss run is still SoY.

Run to SoY was super easy for me. I had that shit down. Especially with the gate leading to the descending steps open

's boss area is cool though. Do wish it had better boss battle.

Loved the next area of
Yahar'gul, Unseen Village
. So creepy and bloody! After suffering through Dark Souls 2's Shrine of Pew Pew Pew, this area is nice. Little annoying as far as
those respawning enemies
. But once you find the
witch locations
, becomes much more manageable. Just
run past all, kill witch, continue.
 
So I just got my Platinum trophy. Great game, but I'm disappointed in chalice dungeons. Their design is very tedious. Wish they used the resources to built another area. I really enjoyed the ride otherwise, now when's Dark Souls 3?
