I was doing some farming earlier in a section of the Cathedral Ward I hadn't been to in ages. I had forgotten the enemy placement, and a Bloodborne.gif moment soon happened that reminded me of that DarkSouls.gif of the player being kicked off a cliff in Tomb of the Giants.

Needless to say, I put the work in and made said Bloodborne.gif.

Where is it?

Yep, forbidden forest. Way in the back in that wooden tower. Go outside on the upper level where you're looking over a huge drop off. Drop down to the level beneath you. There's a ladder that takes you back up and inside. There's two drops you'll be able to see, one is the cannon.

I feel like I am making no progress at all. I can't seem to down Father G and I think I've explored as much as I can up to that point.

Time to grind?

That guy took me 20 damn tries, kept dying to his final form

I just downed my 6th boss, but Father G remains the hardest in the game for me

The more I play the more I hate Bloodborne. I just don't get why the game got basically a free pass from the press.

- AWFUL camera, especially against huge bosses. Seriously a pain in the fucking ass
- Full of texture glitches, I even had some audio glitches too. Visible pop-in when you load a new area
- No way to block in the game, so you always run in circle or use your gun.
- I'm kinda far in the game and I never found any upgrade for my armor. Item variety sucks
- The fucking stuttering. How could they release the game like that? Not smooth at all
- Difficulty spikes are not fun. I found Bloodborne to be very badly balanced.

All in all it's probably the worst "Souls" from From except DSII.

Demon > Dark Souls > Bloodborne > DS 2

edit: don't get me started on those loading screens

did you turn off autocorrect on the camera? it made it MUCH better for me. was driving me nuts before I saw the optiuon.

Grinding might not help much. If you are using the cane that might be an issue from what I've heard. If you can, try to summon someone and that might help. Other than that it just comes down to timing. If you can keep a good distance where he doesn't shoot you but are close enough to shoot/visceral attack then it isn't too bad.

+9, optional boss. Don't need to be too close. Just close enough to be in range to land the hit.

Eventually I'm going to get my Bloodtinge (currently at 20) to 40-50 and see what I can do with it then.
considering that its scaling is D it won't make much of a difference.

Anyone want to help me fight Ebr
ietas
? I could really, really use a hand. I'm level 77. PM if you can help. I'll love you forever!

Haha. Love it.

Question for people who've beaten the game.

In the vaguest possible terms,
how does the game handle its multiple endings? Is it like previous games where you make a choice and receive a different outcome, or is it like Persona where there is a "true" ending and every other ending is "incomplete"?

I received a spoiler today about how to get the
"true" ending
and I'm wondering if its accurate or if its just
a different ending.

found out by accident on my second playthrough that I can call in Father G to fight the cleric beast. No idea what I have done for this to trigger I just noticed a weird sign on the floor by shortcut to the yarham central lamp used the bell and he showed up :D

This game tis the gift that keeps on giving

Worst attacks are those grab ones, where you know you're dead soon as it happens.. but the npc takes it sweet fucking time carving your ass up.

Jesus Christ, i'm stucked at Amelia, cumulative hours i've tried to take her down as of now: 6 hours.

I know the tactic and everything, i just keep dying lol.

I'm developing some sort of Stockholm Syndrome.

I know the feeling. Fire paper makes a world of difference.
Just beat her in about 2 minutes.

boss 6
3 ghost spirit dudes in woods
was cake. 2 tries.

Same for me. Probably would've gotten them in one, but I accidently rolled near a rock outcropping that was shaped just right that the sword guy closed in and prevented my escape. I almost beat him down to flee, but took a fireball because I literally could not move anywhere and died. Those are always the most ignoble deaths, leaving me flipping off the rock structures. I never seem to notice them until it's too late.

Apparently? Get behind, heavy attack spam :V

I tried that but just interacting with its hitbox can cause damage out of nowhere. Plus it spins a whole lot. I found another tip which really made the difference
Cling to the belly and hopefully all the swipes miss and you just have to avoid the headbutt.
Still managed to get hit by it though.

Man, the killing blow was so baller. I need to gif that shit

I've killed...
Father G
Cleric Beast
The Witches

I'm stuck fighting
BSB and Amelia
rihgt now. Is there anywhere else I can explore in the meantime, or do I need to beat those either of those two to continue?

Beautiful.

I've been helping people through BSB.
It feels good.

I can't believe so many people are already in ng+ and doing speedruns. I'm playing without any help and it's fairly slow going trying to figure out some of this obscure stuff

I'm playing NG+ but i feel it's pointless.

Wondering if i should just level my second character.

That was I how I felt. I got a guy to level 120 and NG+ felt pretty blah to me. Maybe on ++ or something. In the meantime I made a high Arcane/Skill build and have been having a blast with the flamethrower.

Once the paleblood infects your mind and body, it's hard to put the game down.

Ugh those are the most annoying deaths. Father G took me many attempts because of acciddntally cornering myself on tombstones

Love it, but I request that you remake it such that the surprise attack kills you :P.

There are - to the left of VA and down below, but they may be tough if you haven't been able to kill those two bosses.

Yeah, hugging the boss in some form seemed the way to go?

Fun fact, i'm getting lost way more times on my NG+ run than on my first lol

6 bosses down so far, the damage output on some was insane, especially last phase Gascogne, holy fuck

The level design in this game is so incredible. Not since Metroid Prime has a game had such amazing and intricate levels. Shortcuts come at the right moments, never too soon and never too late.

That's legit awesome dude. Wish I'd tried that.
