Yep and if you got near them they'd pick you up. If you look at the original OT lot of people freaking about big invisible things grabbing them and killing them

Lol, I guess I got lucky in that it never managed to grab me despite getting the weird animation. xD

I believe I am around level 15 and
I will get that sucker, just not for a while apparently lol. All the sweeter when it gets destroyed.

Haha, I understand the feeling. To help make it easier I would recommend exploring an area that you already have access to for items
Church Ward

quoting myself because new page.

I just got 93K souls in less than 10 minutes. This farm technique is much better for arcane builds.
The room in the lecture hall with the most enemies is piss easy to farm, all you need is a +6 cleaver, around 20-24 arcane stat, and a fire buff for the cleaver. Just make them all come out into the hallway and slash away. They can't do shit because they die in one hit.
Warning, this makes your game turn into a slideshow briefly. And now to buy a shit ton of blood vials and bullets.

Use the music box then when he's stunned go behind him, charge, then backstab.

After he turns the music box works only once. I managed to kill him.
When he leaps i roll in his direction instead of sideways. Tried to stay behind him, dodging his side attacks.

The ceiling glitch that makes it easy to farm the bagman enemies right next to the UV lantern is still ther, but they are only dropping regular blood shards not twins. So it's not worth my time.

This wasn't intentional, I swear.

ROFL

So general question on the chalices, I went through the first one, and am finding variants i.e. root, central, etc...

Do I need to do any of those, or is it just going to be more random gear/gems/chalice materials?

I.e. is there any rhyme or reason to doing the chalices to unlock more chalice options, or can I switch off to the next 'series' of chalice?

I'm stuck at
lecture hall I simple cant find the door to the secound floor, already killed amygdala, either I'm blind or really stupid!Help anyone?

The ones that say Root are random

The ones that don't are for progression

Did they reset the Vileblood leader boards with this patch?

Rofl. What a tease, From! Is she at least amused by it?
IIRC, her reaction is more along the lines of "quit fucking around and kill me some people, but I wouldn't want to see you hurt."

And about the Makeshift Altar, the item is used to find random co-op/pvp dungeons to join, or a random dungeon that is open to the public that you can try yourself.

Four, but last night I was getting twins almost every time. Maybe it's random but Im gonna go do a new area now.

With 100 item find I got four duds in a row a couple of times when I farmed for my threaded cane, but I guess the drop freq may have decreased.

Simple questions about the Chalice dungeons. Only done the starter dungeon but I'll spoiler tag it anyway.

I've reached the end of the third tier and fought the guard dog, with no clear place left to head. Is that the dungeon finished now? How do I progress on to the next? Do I just need to create another and try that? Will the next be more difficult?

It's a damn labyrinth, with 3 pigs in the way of the bosses, lots of poison snakes, and with the nearest shortcut miles away from the boss area! OMG!

The pigs are pretty easy actually. Don't be afraid of them. I hate the snakes though.

edit: You can run to the boss ....probably takes 30 - 60 seconds (every shortcut unlocked)

Question about ending requirements:
I have one Umbilical Cord so far, the prostitute is safe but Iofska is dead in my game. Where can I get another one? Also, should I just use them right away or do I need to save them for a certain point?

Did you activate both elevators? Sprinting to the boss is a matter of a minute, no enemy encounters.

I hate father gascoigne. He is not hard. He is just cheap.

Did you try summoning help? Or are you trying to solo?

The random dude I summoned to help me with this fight was beast. He tanked as I used the TMB (
tiny music box
) and Molotov cocktails for the most part, while trying to help out with gunshot counters. FG went down pretty quickly for us.

As far as I can tell, for that chalice anyway, level
3
is the end, make the next one.

It is known, Khaleesi

And you can do it with any weapon or build.
