The Mask of Scents is a pig mask in Majora's Mask, and in the 3DS remake, there's a butthole on the back of it.is BB the only game that actually has pigtextures ?asshole
This in addition to the game's backstab mechanic...wow
Easier than most Souls game although the start is rough. Gets easier as you go along although a bunch of late game bosses are bugged. What is the consensus among Souls veterans regarding the difficulty of this game compared to the souls games?
I've always considered myself sucky at these games and I just finished Bloodborne in 20 hours (did pretty much all the side stuff, although I'm assuming there is some more stuff I missed, and I got the) and I found the game pretty easy with the exception of the second last boss."true ending"
I'm thinking I should go back to the souls games now (probably wait for the new version of DS2).

Yeah, the daughter of cosmos is so goddamn frustrating. How the fuck do you kill this huge trick? I'm watching videos but it's like everyone has huge as fuck HP bars to tank hits.
One of my favorite moments in the game:
Walk up to the cave which had Ebrietas in it. It was turned around so you could only make out the back. From a distance it looked a lot like a dragon. I was like "fuck yes a dragon... let's get hyped!" Then it turned around and showed its face and I was like "WHAT DAH FUCK IS DAT?"
LMAO! I can't be the only one who had this reaction.
*sees health and damage*
oh
I think I'll return to this boss when I'm actually at endgame I guess.

DS1 IMO peaks in difficulty at the half way point.
I think the bosses in this were pretty easy aside from 3 or 4 but I found the levels to be fairly tough relative to the other games. For me BB had a curve that was tough at the start, much easier afterwards, and spiked hard again at the end. The final level gauntlets are pretty nuts.
I'm not sure how I'd rank them all regarding difficulty though, since I feel the first one you play is gonna be the hardest for just about everyone.
I wish there was friendly fire damage between enemies.
Defiled?
The letter grade is how well it scales with a specific stat. For instance if a weapon has an A in the Strength field it scales really well with each point of strength you have. Can someone explain me the difference between Skill and Strenght in this game? And what exactly means the C, D and E in the weapon stats?
My stats right now are:
Vit: 27
Res: 25
Str: 17
Skill: 12
Blood: 9
Arcane: 8
I'm dealing a good ammount of damage with my axe, since it is +6 and has some decent stones.
Should I keep upgrading Vit till 30 to soft-cap? Or should I start to level up Str and Skill now?
I'll give it a shot tomorrow then, it's my most hated boss by far.it's way easier there, don't worry, in fact if you time it right you won't have to deal with it's bullshit AT ALL. because of the small arena, you can see where it'steleporting and make it teleport again before it even materializes, repeat until dead.

Fuck,. That is all.... I hate this damned guy.Gehrman
So once I best the fourth boss (or third including BsB) do I go fight those lightening chain whip dudes who are crazy hard or head into the tunnel to the forest?
yeah thats the last boss i killed, am level 76 with +10 cane
still, was waaaay easier than the guy at the castle that I killed right before

She'll weaken him and make him easier to kill. What they didn't tell you about the first NPC in the Forbidden Woods is thatThe Cannobal turned into a motherfucking darkbeast that can shoot shockwave out of his hand. I reall surprised by this and clearly unprepared. With 60k echoes in my pocket and haven't yet to find a shorcut, I try to cheese him from the entrance to his area since his big stature don't fit the door. Even then cheesing that still risky since the only attack Canewhip can made is jumping whip if you want to stay at safe range, not to mention that his shockwave attack can travel far to the corridor, taking half HP each hit.
There is one particular question that come up to my mind though on this NPC,if you send him to Iosefka clinic, will he kill Iosefka?
Might want to spoiler-tag that.Fuck,. That is all.... I hate this damned guy.Gehrman
LOL ok.
Is Majora's Mask so dark ? Only ever played wind waker....
Played all the games, I'd say it's on par, although there is a much bigger learning curve to begin with. Cleric Beast is a waaaay harder first boss that phalix, asylum demon or the last giant. What is the consensus among Souls veterans regarding the difficulty of this game compared to the souls games?

IMO if you made past Anor Londo in DS1 you effectively have the skills to beat the entire game. Thanks, kinda bums me out that apparently I got to the peak of the difficulty curve in DS1 just as I lost my save. :

What happens if i hit the guy in the swing chair just before R?om
By lightning chain whip dude I assume you mean the hunter using lightning paper. You can do either, both are optional areas.
Yeah it's a very annoying system and it's always been weak in From's games, but this is the worst implementation yet.The password co-op system is a freaking mess. If I'm lucky enough to even have it work we have to sit through search times of well over five minutes. We just spent over an hour attempting to get a three person team together with no luck.
I liked Souls already, and have been generally enjoying Bloodborne solo, but there's no denying that the password/private co-op was the headlining reason why my friends and I bought the game together. It's infuriating that this convoluted password/bell system has to not only replace a far more standard invite/host option, but that it doesn't work for us. Anybody with luck getting this together have any tips to make this actually work?
None of my weapons have an A grade! =O
How can I upgrade this grade?

As you level up weapons the scaling gets better, but each weapon has a letter cap and a lot of them don't ever reach A.

These chalice dungeons are really dull. Please tell me there's not a lot of them.
I have noticed that 90% of the time I ring the bell and wait near the lamp, I find players, in private or public sessions, quite fast. If I don't wait at the lamp, I have no luck at all either.
Allright! Thanks!
So... giving my stats, should I start upgrading STR and Skill?

I've tried asking before but didn't get any replies, but I've seen people mentioning that after beating a particular boss it's kind of a point of no return for many quests. I'm talking aboutI'm not sure what all I can still do but the only areas I seem to have left areRom.Is there anything I should be looking at doing before beating this boss, because those other two areas feel distinctly harder than what I've been working on...Nightmare Frontier and Cainhurst Castle.
There are a lot of them. And I can't even access the defiled one because I need materials. :|
I'm not a huge fan of them either.
Forgotten Woods boss is kicking my ass. Lost over 30K echoes. Feels bad![]()
Any tips?
Yah'hargul village.Seriously, fuck that place. They remove any possibility of coop, throw those douche meat-bags and an impossible boss...
