I was hoping for faster load times but I'm glad the glitch has been patched. That shit was just too tempting and I just know frustration would have seen my using it at some point.

So now, with the next boss in front of me that is

Byrgenwerth and god how awful the place it was. It was awful in many sense of the word. The enemy design is awful good notion, but how they is awful bad due to how quick the fly thing move and how long they keep their aggro. The little ctulhu-man is awful because it resist normal damage and the godawful fast, homing stunning missile makes it impossible to be fought beside the area you found it where there is a huge that protects you. The Hunter inside the building isn't particularly hard as I slaughtered her quite easily with Blade of Mercy.
So now, with the next boss in front of me that is
Rom, I've read that defeating him will render many things inacessible. The optional stuffs I've done so far is Witches of Hemwick, Blood Starved Beast, and Darkbeast Paarl. Where to go next? I still haven't done with Nightmare Frontier, and also the Gaol part of Yahargul where I found an inactive elevator but I can't find a way to reach upstair.

p the stairs in the Library(Same room as the shortcut elevator), out a window, drop down, onto a ledge, back inside through a window, pull the lever revealing a ladder, climb the ladder, go up the stairs onto the roof, drop onto the lower ledge then onto the circle thingy, drop onto the platform, run along, drop onto the other circle thingy, run around it, drop onto the platform and go up the ladder.
I suggest just dodging to the side and spanking his ass. You can also use
pungent blood bombs

how do you deal with the assholes who give you frenzy? I had to sneak past the one that's in the final area before you unlock the shortcut, even if I killed it frenzy would keep building and I'd die. I suspect I was underlevelled (~50) but still. Also, is Patches a spider in this game?

Yes, check your 18%+ATK gem level, I think 20 is the highest, we can estimate how much bonus you get at level 20 based on that.

you might have missed the path forward, it took me a while to see it
after you drop down through a window and pull a lever that opens up a shortcut, there will be a ladder up. Follow that and eventually you'll be outside on the roof.

You probably have very high insight, go spend it & keep it below 15, you also need sedatives, frenzy resistance armor, & frenzy resistance rune.
I think he meant don't get banned as a junior as those are permanent. Lol

Still getting a few NG/NG+ summoning issues.
Just consecutively trashed BSB and SOY. I hardly realise until they're missing most of there health bar after a few hits.
I kind of feel bad for the host. I'm not sure I'd want someone coming in and killing the boss in about 10 seconds in a game like this. But, hey what am I meant to do.....
Oh well, at least with the 9000 souls I can get 10

I hate it when I forget the controls at crucial moments like boss fights, where I pressed up by mistake and lost a portion of my health.
For anyone having trouble with the
fight I recommend going full Rambo on her.
I used fire paper on the axe, got right up into her face and spammed R1 on her arms, she will stagger quite often. I was hit a couple of times but only had to use 3 vials and the fight was over in less than 60 seconds.
This came after about 7 or 8 attempts of trying to be patient, the method above also means she doesn't get the chance to heal.

Yup this happens to me all the time. Those triggers are so sensitive and really don't like the softness of my couch.

Does she stagger no matter which arm you pummel? I always assumed it was just her left arm because she still tries to
hold onto and protect the Gold Pendant in her left Hand (which is a freaking fantastic detail btw. - gives the whole fight another dimension. Just like in the Father G. fight, even when humans turn into beast they still hold human memories/remember)

I don't know to be honest, I had read that her arms were her weakness so just went for it. I was amazed how quickly I beat her using the above method, prior to doing the above I was having a really difficult time of it.
Just keep dashing repeatedly when you see they're about to come, I didn't get him by them at all.

14's the highest rating I have, but they vary a lot.
Here's some of the 14's:
Phys ATK +12.6%
Phys ATK +12.6% + Other Bonus
Phys ATK +18%
Phys ATK +19.8% + Disadvantage Stats like HP drain or Weapon durability
Blood ATK +21.6%
Arcane ATK +18%
I guess I just have to do more Chalice dungeons and get more data.
The guide is only coming out in two weeks so those rewards could be used for secrets not yet discovered.
Seems to be the only fight so far that relies heavily on luck, those missiles are a nightmare. You can still damage him when he's trying to warp and actually prevent him warping which can really help make the fight a lot shorter.
The official guide has yet to be released, so we can't be sure. Platinum does not require that much effort but that does not entail all secrets. Did not search for any guide out there but the Wiki is a mess that i am definitely not fully satisfied with.
You have to do multiple playthroughs anyways if you want platinum. which i think is kind of tedious.
Really? I thought that fight was super easy. Just run around and attack from behind.
What are you having trouble with specifically?
You can get away with only doing 1 if you back up your save to USB before the final boss then reload.
There is maybe one thing that requires NG+.
