Guys... I want to make sure I'm done with the first tombstone world and missed nothing.

So the areas I've unlocked were:

1st floor sickroom
Central yharnam
Great bridge
Tomb of oedon
Cathedral ward
Grand cathedral
Old Yharnam
Church of the good chalice

And the bosses i've slayed were:

One at the great bridge
One at the graveyard
One in the ruins of the old church
One in the big cathedral

So did i miss anything?

And if i did please tell me how to get it right, thanks a lot.

You're missing a few lamps and two bosses. To reach them you need to
Get the key to the door at the top of the healing church workshop in the unseen village.
 
I DID IT! I ffinally killed the first boss!!!! Woohoo!!!

After grinding up a few levels and dying many many times. I am still scrub tier
 
The Father Gasgoine battle gave me classic Tomb Raider vibes. From the way the cutscene starts up and then transitions into the battle, to the music and even the fight itself just had this classic Tomb Raider vibe about it. Hell this game in general is giving me that feeling.

Anyone else with me, or am I crazy?
 
I'm ready for the last boss and I only just now realized you can actually access your storage in the house in Hunter's Dream.

I just figured I'd get my leftover vials/bullets as I run out and never thought about storing my unused items and outfits lol

Taking my time with the game...probably 10 hours in with the first three bosses down relatively easily (BSB took my three tries which was the most). Then I went to chalice dungeon and
undead giant
FUCKED. ME. UP.
 
Quick question, as I'm standing in front of the creature in question, from a chalice dungeon:

DO I kill the strange skinny blue guys, in the 3rd level 1st chalice dungeon who have enemy health, but don't appear aggressive at all? I'm standing right in front of one now.

What's the deal with
The Choir area? I just fought through it and picked up an Orphanage key, and got the Make Contact gesture, but something tells me I'm missing something?

I used a weapon you get after a little more exploring after BSB on the main quest, if that helps, I'm in the same dungeon as you, but level 3.
 
Is there a pause button for this game? Hitting the option button brings up the menu, but doesn't seen to actually pause the game. Haven't tested to see if the PS button acts as pause.
 
Im getting my ass beat all the time at
old yarhnam by the hunter in the top of the building firing at me, everytime i climb the tower to fight him i loose cause the space is so thin and hes so fast
can anyone help me ?

What is reborn? Why was it summoned from a starry void? Is it a Great One?
 
Almost done with NG+


Really not lookin forward to some boss battles in NG++ (might have to use the stairs tech on Gascogne, i hate the guy that much lol)

As far as I know there's nothing that explains it. Completely forgettable boss.

There is no pause button. Quit to title from the menu. You can load your game and start where you left off.
 
Holy shit! I just upgraded my Ludwig's Holy Blade to +9, added 3 gems for phys. attack (+18%, +18%, + 19.8%) and my damage is now 685 :O and I'm still 13 levels away from Skill hardcap.
That's a huge difference from +10 Saw Cleaver with those gems.
Holy Blade rocks!

I was stuck on this fight for a while, trying to do it "normally" because I thought parries would be too risky and I could do good damage without it. But they're the way to go. You are exposed to fewer of his dangerous long combos if you're trying to knock him out of them and he's surprisingly easy to stun. If he does the move where he tries to grab you toward him with the sycthe, dodge backwards. Try not to roll into that one, I find the camera goes crazy and I get messed up by the following attacks. Kinda just spammed parry on every normal attack and dashed backwards whenever I was in trouble. I had visceral atk +20% and visceral attack + 200 health runes which were very helpful. I use'd Ludwig's Blade and after most visceral attacks I could follow up with some heavy R1s/L2s.

In the second form when he jumps in the air and does his tornado AOE effect, it tends to hit to the side and in front of him. I have to unlock the camera to see where the hell it's going to land

The door to the orphanage is in the big room where the chandelier fell and you were ambushed by the wolves.

Nice, I think that beats out my Ludwig's +10 by a few points (30/30str/skill)

seriously, dont stress over insight. By the end of the game you will be capped and have like 10 madman's knowledges that you cant use

kill the 2 sack dudes, the witch, the 2 pigs outside, all the wolves to the left and the sack guy over top of the tonitrus. Tons of eash echoes fast. The pigs are 3500 a piece

Where's you get the +19.8% gem? I'm looking for some better gems but haven't come across any yet.
 
Some SUPREME FUCKERY just went on in the u. chatehdral
just two handed logan blade charge r2ed one of the head sucking squidy things, they just ran straight through it (despite getting hit) sucked on my head. before I could get up they sent of their paralysing spell and went to town on me. I did NOT just go through killing all those lycans for that

also regarding this area
what do the slow crawly squid things do? Ive not let one near me to find out

I'm at the skill and str cap and my damage is about 700 plus some gems.
