I wish there was more in game feedback to show new players you can do this though. You don't get any of the meaty feedback the game gives you to show you that you're hitting a still-living enemy. It just looks like your weapon is clipping through his death animation. Important as it is for this game, it's strange that it doesn't feel good to do it.
 
I've not started this game yet, but is it like Dark Souls where other players can leave notes and stuff for you? How is that part of the game... not coop but the feeling that others are playing too?

Ebrietas
is going down tonight. Gave her a couple of tries last night after having demolished
the one reborn, Paarl, and celestial emissary
but she was a bit tougher and it was pretty late.
 
So I just beat the game?
I beat Gerhman and then a monster like ate my stomach. Then credits rolled and NG+ seems to be starting right now. I've heard about a true ending or whatever so I take it I missed it by not doing some stuff?

It's good. I don't know if it's because they put more useful phrases in the notebook or what, but I felt like I got a lot more useful messages from people when going through this game's equivalent to the Painted World of Aramais. Pretty much every ambush or difficult area had a message warning me. Definitely made navigating that zone much less of a headache.

The giant Snakeoids? They were going down in like two R2's with my Ludwig iirc. Goddam was that section a marathon though. Place was huge; had over 50K when I came out and I had to take break to smoke a bowl just to chill the fuck out.

Five bosses in and I'm kinda stuck as to where to go next. Was just gonna wander around tonight, but could anyone give me a general area/direction to head to?

are the only two still giving me trouble before I head onto the finale, really wanna knock them out this playthrough though. Came closer to killing her today before she did some crazy move I haven't seen before haha.

of course lol. Only had 6 vials left, actualy didnt even use them all. I dont even know what killed me, it just looked like he was jumping to the other side, didnt look like a attack, but it basically 1 shot me. oh well

Yeah it's optional.
Go to Hemwick and there's a bit with a giant monument near where all the big executioner guys hang out. If you have the summons you can hop a ride from there.

I'm in the same situation. Just finished killing
the witch
. I went back to the
jail
to explore and happened upon
Darkbeast Paarl
, who flattened me. Now I'm in the same area, but going along the path with the two
hogs
.

Yeah. I heard he was optional and he wrecked me so was thinking of leveling a few times before I take him on again.

i cant seem to dodge
rom's blue crystal things
i mean i can sometimes but other times im rolling away but they still hit me.

any tips?

Go through Old Yharnam and kill BSB. Avoid his fire and don't go up to him. When you eventually are able to beat Darkbeast Paarl, go backwards through Old Yharnam and go up to him. (Not sure if it matters but I heard wearing the Black Church Set helps, so I did.) He will be friendly. Choose to spare the beasts in that area.

That's how I got the gesture/badge.
 
Why
does Amelia have so much health in NG+?
I've absolutely cruised through until this point, it's insanity.

Don't. Just stay close, and he usually doesn't do that move. Avoid his other AOE when he gets on his back -- it's an easy tell.

Gosh, I skipped a lot in Unseen Village. Combing through it better in NG+, and found
a random bath that teleports me to an elevator shaft. Prolly a shortcut?
