What do I do after
ascending Odeon Chapel? I went to the top, got a Radiant Sword Badge, then there's a locked door at the top?

I already killed the Witches of Yharnam and hit that dead end. Not sure what I do with this badge.

Don't worry too much, you have a good stretch of exploring before you need to take on a boss again. I just wanted to give you a heads up that if you find something you don't feel up for just yet you don't have to do it right now. You're at the point now where the game will become less linear in progression. The opening 2 bosses actually annoyed me a bit since it's the only option at that point, although you can probably skip the Cleric thinking about the level design.
 
Can I level up more than one weapon with blood stone chunks? I want to do my cane and
blades of mercy
but am scared I won't have enough.
 
I found it before, but cant seem to find it again. Can someone tell me where that door is you have to go after you kill
vicar...the one with the password or whatever

I killed Amygdala?
I just decided to head back and do
Cainhurst
since I never did that, but I know doing that won't progress the main quest line.

Is insight increasing damage taken real or not? I figured I'd struggle to survive with 40 since I generally suck at these games but I just noticed I have over 80 now and I'm still getting by without too much hassle. The earlier enemies seem weak as anything still compared to my buffed character. Also is there even a benefit to having insight over 40?

Go from the chapel left, climb stairs till you cross the gate you opened(possibly with the 10k souls key, then go forward to the graveyard, take a left. Take a left after murdering tentacle face, and you'll end up there eventually so long as you didn't jump down. Worth noting, that's not the next place you really want to go, though it's the next main one. The place you want to go is to the left of vicar's boss room, it unlocks runes.

Thanks for the advice. I hate when things open up (I don't really but..) the completionist side of me comes out and freaks out because there are multiple routes at once and I want to explore them all at the same time :L

I love it rwally though! I've got my explorative Top Hat on!

If you use Chrome, you can download "NeoGAF Live Thread" extension.

There will be a rotating circle in the bottom right of a page and you can click it and set how often it will refresh the page for you (30s, 60s, etc).

So basically, I keep it on while I play, because my PS4 and tv is right next to my PC on my desk, and come back and bam, scroll down and thats it.
Sometimes I look overand the replies pile up forever (pages) :P

that doesn't do anything. Is it supposed to be like this?

I actually murdered Alfred as soon as I got his stuff for giving him a summons for a blood dreugh. What happens?

Actually I'm only half joking, I thought that was a bit much. You can be dark and moody and scary with other colors besides gray

Also, on the zones, I've already said a few times that BB has what is in my opinion the worst zone in any souls game, which is one of the reasons I rank it bellow Dark Souls. While the highs are just as high (well, I don't even believe that since nothing in BB can touch O&S for example), the lows (or in this case the low) are lower. But that's like comparing super model wives (or husbands :p), who gives a fuck, at the end of the day you're still married to a super model :3

I agree coming from ds2 PC with sweetfx...I'm also an extreme saturation person I love high saturation and a lot of color.. This game really is 90% grey 5% black and 5% red.. Really miss the color from the past games.... I even changed the color tuner on my HDTV to add a little bit of color....

That entirely depends on who your 3rd boss was. I'd suggest either
getting the 10k souls key from the shop or going right through the closed door that's now open in the chapel if the boss you killed was BSB.
 
HOLY SHIT @ the amount of souls I get from this chalice dungeon! 50k souls in ~ 3 mins, no extra souls runes or anything and just killing enemies normally. It's hard as hell tho regular enemies hit like bosses lol.

Level 4 pissed me off so much because I went all over the place to find the switch and then after an hour of searching and hitting walls to look for illusions I realize I missed an open hallway way at the beginning that was right where it was.
