there is one more story boss after this one.

you can get +9 from the game, but in limited amounts. you can only get _one_ +10 item per story playthrough. you get it by taking the elevator from mergo's loft middle and going through an open window.

you keep everything in ng+ except for keys and other key items. you will need to unlock all areas again. there is really no point in ng+ unless you want to level up faster.

Ah I saw that dang window...but wasn't sure on the elevator ride if you can go in or not then let it slip my mind. I'll get back into it.

I'll get my Axe +10 first then although I was tempted to get the Katana to +10, but I'm lacking blood chunks and don't want to farm them. Plus, my bloodtinge is super low so I doubt I'll do any damage with it.

Jesus fucking christ the
king at Cainhurst. I forget his name. What the hell lol. He's cake in the first phase but this dick is going super Saiyan and I can't keep up

Holy fuck, I died to
Amygdala, I thought he was supposed to be cake. ONce he used his hands as extra range, I was useless, couldn't find any openings.

There's a really dumb trick to it. Just stay directly underneath her head or slightly towards her chest and she will attack like you're in front of her. I died on her like 4 times after getting her down to a slither. My brother took the controller and killed her in the first try doing that. I was really disappointed to find out that she could be cheesed so easily.

In case anyone was wondering what the $25 faceplate looks like, here it is!

Looks good and doesn't feel cheap. Very happy with my purchase!

Awesome. Mine should be coming tomorrow.

that is.definitely a touh fight. took me like 4 tries. the best thing i can advise is to stagger him with the pistol. and when he does his crazy sword spell you can hit it to destroy it

My man. Thanks!

Man, C
ainhurst
is littered with all sorts of goodies.

Also finally joined my first covenant. Not too good at PvP. Need practice. I always preferred invasion/being invaded. Never liked PvP duels. Given how that is set up here, prob won't work well. Esp if you invade into a group of 3. :/ but I likely need practice.

Someone used the cannon on me earlier and did so much damage. Lol

Only win came from someone who I think was confused who I was. Just turned to me, and I waved few times to be polite. Only when i attacked did he realize I'm an invader. Odd, but funny.

Bloodletting beast
...good god he was wrecking me, definitely the most trouble I have had by far with any boss...now it just gets harder.

I've reached Vit soft cap, and am with 27 Endurance. Also I'm almost reaching Strenght soft cap. I'm at about level 60.

Question is... should I upgrade strenght and skills till reach their soft cap of 25, or should I keep upgrading Resistance and Vitality?

I've just got to
Nightmare
of
Mensis, is this the last place before the ending?, i wanna know because i want do some other stuff before fthe game's ending.

Real sad everyone keeps pushing strength and skill so much
Next character I make is gonna have as low of both as possible

ludwigs blade with fire gem and another one with bolt gem and 40 arcane to use all spells

Man I just killed Abhorrent Beast. What a rush. Of every boss I've fought in the game so far, this was easily the hardest. It might be the hardest boss I've killed in any video game ever. Fuck that guy was hard.

Rom ain't got shit on this guy. It would be easier to kill Rom and Amelia at the same time than this motherfucker.

I made a video of my kill. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hZjmk1c_3fc Strangely this was an attempt where I was even experimenting with shit and I managed to kill him. You can see me trying lead elixirs and poison knives, lol.

*subs*

yeah, theres a lot of ways to go about that fight, I still am sad its not a proper boss in the story mode, because so many people will miss it.

FINISHED IT!!!!!

I think I defeated all the optional bosses and visited all the optional locations, plus I got the "true" ending. Ended at lv 91 after 28 hours.
Keep in my mind, I only played a few chalice dungeons. Apparently they don't sacale with NG+ so I'll get to them starting now.

Overall I truly loved this one. Not only is it the best game of this gen, but much like Dark Souls it's one of the best game I've ever played. The combat, locations, art direction, lore and just a overall style are on different level than most games, at least IMO
I generally take my time with games, any other 30 hours game would take me at least a month but this was just so good I couldn't help but to dedicate it almost all my free time over this past week.

Compared to other souls games I found it to take both stept in the right and wrong direction.
The overall points I'd consider

-I love the combat in Dark Souls and somehow FROM managed to make a game with combat that I like even more. It mantains the same concepts of being skill based and "you kill enemies fast and they kill you fast" but ads a lot of speed and makes it feel more dynamic. You are constanly attacking and evading, plus enemies feel more aggressive.

- I LOVE the trick weapons and it will definitely be hard going back to the regular way. Weapon variety might be limited but each new one you get truly feels unique.

- The art direction is amazing and environments feel like they have a lot more detail now

- I'm not a fan of blood vial mechanic and I think an Estus Flask Equivalent would have been better. I think the main problem is that they drop at an uneven rate. I encountered a few areas where I just felt they simply didn't drop and it became annoying. No matter how careful you are you will get hit every now and then and if no one is dropping them you will run out of them sooner or later.
And it didn't even seem to be related to how far in the game you are. There are some late game areas where you get them frequently (and enemies aren't even that strong) and some mid game areas where they become really rare

- While I think weapons feel more unique here, I do agree with the people wanting a bit more build variety. Personally I didn't mind as there were plenty of weapons for melee fighters which is how I've allways played this games. But I can see how magic users or ranged fighters in Dark Souls might be a bit dissapointed.

But all in all I'd say it's still the superior experience. The Combat was much more enjoyable to me, the art direction more memorable, and while it's shorter it's also more consistent (the later half of Dark Souls had some areas that just didn't feel like they were as good as the rest of the game. I never felt that in Bloodborne)

Did you play Revengeance on the hardest difficulty?

Trying to co-op. The game won't let me ring my beckoning bell. Anyone know what I am doing wrong? I have 5 insight and my buddy has 10. We set up passwords. The darn bell just wont ring.

It seems the major issues with this game could be fixed pretty easily in the next couple of patches.

- Put a damn picture next to the warp points. This was done in Dark Souls 2 and there is no reason why its not done in Bloodborne. The differences in Cathedral Ward and the 2 other cathedral places right next to each other are not enough for me to remember them. Couple this with the ridiculous load times, i have not had a good experience

- Let me warp from one lantern to another

- show me a status change when i look at new armour to equip or new weapons etc

- Put some information on the loading screens which makes it more tolerable - the lore of the game and the characters are very interesting, so why not put a still screen of them between each loading screen

- When possible, fix frame rate issues and loading times.

While the game isnt perfect, these are relatively small issues that i think could make the game a lot better.

What level are you? I can help if you want.

69, but I already shut the game off for the night and wanna solo my first playthrough anyway. Thanks though! :)

Oh word so you can stagger him. I tried but kept missing and forgot about it

Has any eurofriend seen any PVP or co-op? Me and my friends are around lvl 50 and still nothing, no invasions and I even have tried summoning help to no luck.
Is there some other mechanic to this whole thing that I do not understand/know about yet?
I do have 5 insight. How do I offer myself for co-op?

That reminds me, does anyone have a bug where the Tomb of Odeon lantern doesn't work long after the story event happens?

Yeah, and for anyone curious why the
Hypogean Gaol lantern(the one in front of the statue of Amygdala and the child's corpse with the weird headgear in Yahargul) doesn't work, the Hunters broke it, it's completely broken.

Have you been using the suspend/resume feature of the PS4? I hear it messes up multiplayer. Restart the PS4 and see if it will work afterwards.

Is there anyone level 40- 50 that can help me fight Amygdala in Nightmare Frontier.

Been trying to the last hour but nobody seems to be offering help. online has been a headache since I got this game.

edit : no resume/suspend for me. booted up the game fresh still nothing.

Just beat the 4th boss
Amelia on my 3rd try. I love how you learn more on the boss with each fight, just like you learn more about how the places connect. So so good! Got her to 75%, then 50%, then dead.

Great write up and impressions dude.

Oh man... I finally beat
Rom
AND
Logarius
in a short session this morning.

What a way to start the day... I should play the lottery today.

It feels just too good. Love this game!
