The problem is that some of those girls are located in difficult spots.
The first behind a group of town folks, the second one at the end of a mini cage maze with a crazy dude in wheelchair at her size, the third is hidden in a tiny gap below a group of witches and the fourth that I've found is beind a pack of rabbid dogs close to a wall

Honestly... I found the area way easier than the Forbidden Woods. Mainly because it was pretty small.

Oh wow,
Upper Cathedral Ward
is NUTS.

These *mild optional area spoilers*
blue eyed badass werewolves are kicking my ass, and the one that crashed through the cathedral window in the hall nearly gave me a damn heart attack.
.
This can ruin the experience but there's a super easy way to deal with
those blue eyes wolves. just run behind any door, the wolves can't cross the doors due their size, then just use the second mode of your weapon and R2 to kill them easily

I was the opposite, in Forbidden Woods I found enough space to attack each enemy one by one instead of being under preassure by all the enemies.

Here's my triump over the W
atchdog
asshole in the defiled dungeon. 14 minutes of trying to be super cautious, near the end my thumbs were sweating and falling off the damn sticks. Pretty sure for a few minutes I just flub the spacing and don't even connect with an attack out of nervousness, lol.

At this boss right now. Got his patterns downs, but sometimes he throws out a random charge attack. Thought having half health wasn't a problem till this fight. So he's final boss of the dungeon right?

There's one more and it's one from the main game
Amygdala or whatever
, but I found this to be the hardest by far. There's a tell for the charge but it's very fast.

Man, after reading all the Rom horror stories here I was freaked the hell out when I found it, but I beat it on my third try. Maybe I missed something but fighting Rom was actually among the most straightforward bosses I encountered so far.

I just ran to Rom's side, slashed 2-3 times and dodging away again and again. As far as I experienced, Rom itself only has two moves: raising its head to shoot meteors at you, or raising its ass to do a area-of-effect move. Slashing it 2-3 times and rolling away ensures that spiders can't gang up on you. After I deal damage I unlock the camera from the boss and just roll the hell away before spiders dive bomb me (which ended up being my cause of death every time) or Rom does its AoE.

I feel like leveling my current character to be good at everything and doing further NG+s, where in other a Souls games I prefer making new characters. I think this is partly because the weapons I'm interested in are pretty late in the game and I already did the work to get them. I'm sure I will make PVP centric characters down the line. I have most of NG+ unlocked and I'm already 125. Was about 70 when I finished NG.

I also realized I don't want to skip any of the bosses, I'll see how I feel about that in NG++

He also has another attack where he rolls onto his side very slowly, then rolls back slowly as ice crystals come out of the ground into the air.

I've stopped trying to play bosses too safe. While I might look for 30 seconds at what they can do, I usually just end up throwing myself at them and abusing the regain system. The only time I back off is if during some kind of combo. It might be why I've already killed 2 bosses while dying at the same time, but hey at least I don't have to fight them again.

Yeah I know what the tell is, but he keeps catching me off guard while I swing. Sometimes he doesn't charge until near the end of the fight. Other times he does it shortly after the first. Frustrating, but I'll get it eventually.
Amygdala? Shouldn't be too much trouble with Ludwig's.

How does this work again? Might actually need some help with the last few chalice dungeons.(if I can connect to somebody ever again in the freaking things)

Edit: oops, I didn't see it at the top :C

Yeah I don't like cheesing, I was doing fine but I made a few critical missteps when I almost had victory.

That said, I am not even mad. Dark Souls taught me patience, and Bloodborne is actually more of my style of play; On the attack but also on the defensive, managing stamina and dodging has become its own game alongside the transformation mechanic with the weapons.

I just love this game, it feels like no matter what I have a way to get past even the cheapest enemies in the game, and it demands you learn the mechanics even moreso than Dark Souls.

About to face Darkbeast Paarl, unless I've progressed too far. Still haven't killed whatever boss will be the penultimate one for Yahargul.

Eileen location help (if you missed her and she doesn't seem like she's shown up at any other stages of the quest)

I talked to her the first time and could never get her to spawn at any of the other locations (yes the necessary conditions were fulfilled)
I finally found her inside of the grand cathedral just waiting behind the lamp. She immediately aggroed so I had no choice but to kill her. She might have gone crazy considering she was shouting about how my blood was hers, the fact that all hunters should die, etc.
Figured this might help since all I'd seen so far was people encountering a similar issue and not being able to find her at all. If this has already been posted mb.

Blood starved beast is down, woo hoo! ...now what? its a dead end there, no idea where to next...

also: ^bruh did you really have to quote all that

I fucked up and
chose to submit my life after collecting all the shit I needed, I got my save back but it's too far back, I am so fucking mad.

FUCK ME MAN AHHHHHHHH

Gonna do it all over again tomorrow...

Replay value in this game seems to make a few people a whole lot madder than a short and barren game. Cheer up it's not like the game will run away from you,it will just be you against the games' challenges.

Got to
the unseen village
last night, and fuck this place. Not digging the
respawning enemies due to the bell tollers
. Can anyone give me an idea how far into the game I'm right now, percentage wise?

I quoted the first post but I still can't see the GAF password, what do?
Quote the first post and you'll see the password in the post reply page; it's formatted to be hidden so you'll only see it when replying to it. You don't need to post the quote.

Finally beat V
icar Amelia
yesterday but I have no idea where to go now. I already beat the W
itches
. Do I have to go through the place I was kidnapped to? Everything is so strong there...

do we really have to spoiler tag boss names?

From Vicar's room go down to the middle circular area with the 2 huge white knight guys. Off to the right is a path-way. Go all the way down to the door.

Amygdala? Shouldn't be too much trouble with Ludwig's.

For me with the axe I looked for very specific moves to attack with.

The bite attack was a big one, but I only hit when he did the one to the left. Right was awkward and he followed it up a lot. Later in the fight he follows up with 1 or 2 more additional bites but I couldn't figure out the tell, the fourth was punishable though.

The rapid firebreath move is punishable at the end.

The swipes might be but I never tried.

A lot of it was to avoid the charge since if you overcommit that could come out, so it ends up being a long fight you need to be really careful with. I'd also take multiple HP runes if possible as I was able to just barely survive a charge from full health.

Well after
touching that glowing skull and watching the cutscene
go back to
the plaza where the 2 giants were, at the right there's a door with a corridor at the left, follow the corridor and you'll find a door, a guy'll ask for a password, the password was in the cutscene

Try exploring the town area of the cathedral, around the courtyard with the two giants. There's staircase leading down to a door with a guy who asks you the password; if you touched the skull in Vicar Amelia's room and watched the subsequent cutscene, you'll know the password.

And yes, please spoil boss names.

it depens on whether you want to do all optional stuff (or have already done the optional stuff). The unseen village is rather
short and after that its one small area followed by one pretty large one for the "main route". final boss can be met after that though I wouldnt recommend it yet

Some are calling them imps, but we'll be calling them crystal lizards for sometime. Just like I call lamps "bondfires" and blood echos "souls" still.

I call them lamps since they physically look different, but to me, theyre souls.
since you know, theres a good chance this is demon souls 2 and all :V

I've taken to calling them dust bunnies, since they kinda remind me of the dust bunnies from My Neighbor Totoro.

Whoever thought Forbidden Woods--the snakey part--as brilliant level design should be punched on the face.

Holy crap it's so very easy to lose your bearings in here :///

And Ludwig's Rifle is crap. Holy shit can't believe how crap it is :// What a waste of 10.000 Echoes.

I'm very depressed, how could they make such a glorious PvP with such a terrible matchmaking?

Instead of patching the load times they should take it as their priority.

Yeah I'm parrying a lot. doesn't seem to help much.

maybe you are underleveled? Did you do the optional areas and bosses? chalice dungeons?

the area is only really bad the frist time you get there. I use it to farm blood echoes and on my third pass-through I knew the area like my own backyard :P

That's what the gold coins are for :P

Also, that sucks.

I'd rather punch whoever had a snake fetish in the face. I have never hated snakes so much in my life.

Yeah I'm parrying a lot. doesn't seem to help much.

I equipped all the increase visceral attacks runes I had and the heal on visceral attacks and went to town. Still took me a decent of tries my first time to get him down..like a lot.

And don't be afraid to get on his ass in the first phase before he charges up. Your attacks can stun lock him.

I am pretty sure thats exactly what they want to happen though. Super stressful experience the first time through. I was like mentally exhausted after turning every stone twice. Good times!

Daaaamn Forbiddeb Woods boss on NG+ was no joke. That fight was intense, took me about 6, very long attempts

I just ran by everyone straight to the shortcuts, then to the boss. second try.

Some poster above may have said ludwigs rifle is crap. But you know what isnt? His OP sword, the sword that can pierce the heavens!

Someone photoshop ludwigs greatsword onto TTGL stuff, thanks :3

Patching getting into matches?
Netcode first :P I don't like seeing blood and not doing damage with it.

Also I love how spam dodging backwards against a wall actually works as a very valid strategy.

Yep. I'm doing all this. Got him down to about 20% a couple times. The ridiculousness keeps winning out.

Yeah I just need to be more patient. Never thought about the HP runes. Good idea!

Lol, I like it!
