I'm guessing 0901 is a time (9:01 AM, presumably time of admittance to the hospital if the guess about what "D" means is correct), and 0712 refers to either the 7th of December or the 12th of June.
Ahh yeah, looking through a few of the listings there are 0840 which wouldn't make sense my way, derp!

Tue first part is a timestamp (you can see the other numbers roll from 0859 to 0901) the second part is likely a date. So 09:01 July 12, 2517.
Edit: beat, and I forgot that 07/12 means something different outside the US, but at least I know July is the 7th month...

Actually yeah this makes the most sense. I forgot the person on record that died should be the flash clone since they don't die for a few months after replacing the original (in September).

Ah, that's right, I'd forgotten the date of abduction. Thought the flash clones were supposed to last a bit longer though.
Also, UNSC uses superior US date system confirmed.

That Spartan Locke sure is one handsome fellow.
I hope he matches some of the intensity in the ALL HAIL trailer in his voice acting in Halo 5. H2A's Locke sounded a bit stiff, but in the ad, he sounds strong and confident.
Halo 5 will likely be in the top 3 biggest games of the year, if not the biggest, depending on the marketing blitz. Star Wars Battlefront would be it's biggest competitor, considering it's going to be banking on the Star Wars EpVII blitz.
Gonna be an interesting year for sure.

I highly doubt they'd go that far, but I think it's going to be quite a lot of fun going forward having to look twice at everything that's beyond what we experience through the eyes of the Chief and Arbiter themselves. Don't look *TOO* deep into all of this, as this is more of a surface play to fuel the ARG. Some notable Halo imagery might be a lie, or a stretch of the truth, but I don't see them digging too deep to retcon actual rooted lore. A video game cover...that is fair game for sure.
