So the game punished me for exploring the game early instead of reading online guides ?
Why just not make the NPC drop it it early ?

I'm not sure why you're looking at it as a punishment. I got
3 of them, but I had no idea you were supposed to use them to get the 3rd ending.
So what? We still beat the game. There should be hidden, difficult-to-find things in games, and a
secret ending
should be one of the best hidden in my opinion. It adds replay value.

I like the lecture hall. You get around 35k per run(I only had the crappy Moon rune equipped at that). The one room you literally stand in the door mash R2 and watch about 17k echos pile on in. They also drop sedatives which you will need plenty of coming up. The giant drops chunks occasionally so its an added bonus. The enemies are very easy. I found this a very relaxing farm.

To top it off the load time into the lecture hall is 8-10 seconds. I spent an hour there and went from like level 60-75 in that span. I was gaining a level each time I returned to hunters dream until the last few trips.

About that giant ... Where is it?

Yeah, totally not with you here. It's meant to be a hidden 'bonus' ending. Whether or not it's the 'true' ending is up to debate.

The fact you can miss it on a first playthrough is absolutely fine. Also, you missed
2
secret items out of
4
. It really doesn't affect the game much so it's a bizarre point to fixate on.

If they just added more sinister bell ringers to more areas by default PVP would be significantly improved.

How hard would that be to patch in?

They should of just made it so that beckoning bell called invaders too. Instead of the stupid "Bell lady shows up only after a coop person shows", since she's just instantly killed or they phase through the boss gate.

Yeah, I think as a PvE offline game, Bloodborne is infinitely better than Dark Souls 2, especially if one charitably assumes stuff like the boss AI sometimes getting stuck will be fixed in a patch. (I never saw it happen in my game for what it's worth.)

As a PvP or co-op game I can see while people would be sour as it sounds like there are a lot of issues right now. Soul Memory is still a disaster but DkS 2 pvp is otherwise great.

Finally killed the three hunters by cheesing them. Basically ran back almost to the lantern after aggroing, only one stayed on me others went back. Killed that one. did the same for another. Then killed #3 in his room and it was cake.

Im not proud!

Those of you who killed them by just throwin down vs all 3, you are better gamers than I.

I killed em thanks to spin-to-win. It was a super intense fight for sure though. Several times I only had a sliver of life left. Heart was pounding like crazy.

Bell ringing woman is terrible.

That would help, but it is unfortunately a band-aid. People can just kill the bell ringer and it is done. The Multiplayer system is flawed from its main design. The lack of a proper duel system will kill the long term PvP community. There are only random, sporadic invasions.

Just beat R
om___
. Took a couple of tries because the adds one shot me a few times. I killed all the adds, then the boss was not hard at all. Only two waves of adds and I won.

Hmm, I just decided for something.

Going to do blindfolded Boss-runs and stream it (live). Probably tomorrow!

If you like PvP then DS2 is leagues above BB right now.

PvP is the only thing going for DaS2 at this point and that's not even saying much as PvP wasn't really much of an appeal for me in souls game as they were all broken in some way. Especially since random invasions barely works in souls 2 and you're left with basically matchmaking postgame which i have no interest.

Rest of the game is just lesser than every other souls game

I would say i do want more build variety in BB but mostly for PvE. And while better pvp would be awfully nice, rating DaS2 higher is bonkers to me, unless you're really THAT addicted to the pvp, but for me there are better alternative for competitive games period outside of souls

-game gets boring, little to no rewards from bosses unlike the souls series.
Hm, thinking back, and i've beaten all Souls games, what did you get from bosses in those games? I know that in Dark Souls 2, you can get boss weapons. However, in contrast, you get those
hunter badges
in Bloodborne instead.

I also dont think that there is anything wrong with the online play, but perhaps the conditions to summon others are more strict?

Speaking about online play, i like the idea about that you can just walk around and then summon. You dont have to wait at certain areas. The negative thing about this is that you have no idea if there are anyone in that area that you can summon. And sometimes when you summon someone, they start far away from you, with no indication on where they are. Its also not possible to signal them somehow (except voice chat, if that works).

I only got invaded 3 times in the entirety of my 35 hour playthrough but all 3 times it was more fun than Souls 1 and 2's lagstab bullshit.

Holy sh*t - just beat R:TVS on my first go in NG+ today. Well God damn.

Also, it's totally a run followed by a roll to avoid his magic projectiles. I need to thank the guy who suggested that. Sidestepping/rolling/running by themselves don't work 100% of the time, this does.

Only used 2 health vials too. I was expecting that to be as annoying as the first time I fought him. Guess not.

Someone please explains this to me....I cant....
The technical parts of the game is perfect (hence, 1080p@60fps) but the bosses are really bad in DkS2 (according to D3vil). 7/10

What's this?

Bosses can get stuck in an infinite "Repeat the same move" loop.

Ah, is that from
Demon's Souls last boss?
If so, i thought it sounded kinda familiar when i got those in the game. Also a really cool reference :)

It was a use item in demon souls, causes your weapon to do arcane damage. Same thing in bloodborne, both are white slugs that cause arcane damage when rubbed on weapons

See I try to stay behind him, but he turns around on a dime and starts gashing me up which makes me freak out because now I'm poisoned and trying to heal while he's pouncing on me at the same time. I've tried dodging to the right, but he still grazes me. It's infuriating.

I find it difficult too.

Try using molotovs or using fire paper to do more damage. If you see the poison bar filling up, back away and take a moment to heal if you need to. You won't get poisoned unless that bar fills completely so you can try and avoid it.

If you do get poisoned, you need to use antidote quickly because your health will drop quickly. make sure it is on the quick item list

So I keep picking up the shining coins and wondering WTF am I going to use these for?
Then I get to the second half of the Forbidden Forrest and it looks like the path is littered with Scrooge McDucks gold.

I was just about to fight the 4th boss for the 4th time
Vicar Amelia (it's giving me some trouble as it keeps healing more than I can damage it)
and the strangest thing happened, something attacked me
and dragged me into the unseen village. I don't feel like I'm supposed to explore that area yet as the enemies are extremely difficult. Am I supposed to go through it now or do I return to fighting Vicar Amelia?

I explored a bit, very carefully. It is not impossible; enemies do A LOT of damage and have big HP, but they are kinda easy to read. If you take your time, it is fine.
The good thing is that you can get something
(a weapon)
special nearby *wink wink*
Tonitrus
, and the extra Blood Echoes might help. LOTS of Blood Echoes there.

By the time I went back to hunt other bosses, it was a breeze.
I obliterated the Witches and even fucking Henryk, even though I had to cheese it a bit.

I keep getting killed by E
brietas Lasers
, URGH!

Tip if you want it
I killed this boss in less than a minute at level 50. Was using the holy blade r2 strike from behind. Once the lasers started i equipped my pistol and ash for extra damage. 4 bullets later she was dead. was using the hunters pistol +6. The lasers are real easy to avoid at a distance if you just run left to right. Which is why i used the pistol

If you dupe your level to an obscene level PvP will not work for you unless you find another duper. I have found the co-op works almost all the time when you are in a reasonable level range for the boss. For instance I rang the Resonating bell at cleric beast (just to fight him again) at lvl 70 and I did not find anyone. I then went to Cainhurst and rang at the boss and within 30 seconds i watch matched.

I am starting to think people who say it does not work dont understand the match making system.
It is based on where you ring the bell and what level you are.
